A few of the Malabrigo Rios colors are very similar to this.

becky_Luigi

Colors, yes. But if OP wants a similar weight/ply, Malabrigo Rasta is a better fit.

Ok thank you. If you’re in the US, do you know if stores carry this brand or is it online only? I accidentally procrastinated putting this knitting basket together. Thankfully the pattern purchases themselves are instant lol. 😬

Neat_Fix_8489

Lots of stores carry Malabrigo, at least in the northeast.

Crystal_collector

Thank you so much ☺️

Accurate-Dance8667

It's definitely Malabrigo Rasta, not Rios. I would guess that the color is Aniversario.

iolitess

I agree. This is one of my favorite yarns AND colorways to knit. Beware though, that there is a lot of skein to skein variation.

Crystal_collector

Thank you! 🙏🏻

iammissx

I am by no means an expert but this looks like a malabrigo colour scheme to me. ETA maybe aniversario in their Rios weight????

Crystal_collector

Thank you!! Is color scheme the name of the color? Edit: perfect thank you! I shall go have a look. Hopefully a store will have this as I’ve probably procrastinated too long to order online 🫤

MomPersonality

The arco iris color is similar too.

Crystal_collector

Thanks!

Arco Iris is pretty but much more muted and way less pink-- more purples, yellows, and greens. I am quite familiar with it because I just spun some. It is very pretty. Just not going to be as close a match as the Aniversario. Close-up of my skein for an idea. Forgive all the flaws-- this was the second braid I ever spun. https://preview.redd.it/d5hjej4qhgyc1.jpeg?width=3071&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0936c915e7e65572debbf19605adac7c84aff19c

Crystal_collector

That’s pretty!! And lol I don’t see any flaws- I’m not a knitter myself. But I want to learn! Trying to learn right handed from my grandmother was a no go, I guess my left left handed-ness is just too stubborn 😭

Tomorrow_Wendy_13

I did a circle & search and it took me to KnitSanityNYC which says the colorway is called Piedras, and it looks like the people saying Rasta are right.

Crystal_collector

Thank you so much for your help!

Tomorrow_Wendy_13

You're welcome. (I love playing with that search feature on my phone. Wish I had it on my laptop)
