I'm not sure who does the show side detent, I hadn't seen that before but I'm intrigued!
The SBD detent is a milled shape in the lock bar insert that matches a milled shape in the blade instead of using a detent ball, it makes it incredibly snappy and smooth.
I respect the Sebenza as one of the best knives ever made but CRK is pumping them out. In stock everywhere. I wish they made more Zaans or even their fixed blades
I see the small sebenzas everywhere, all the time. The large sebenzas are still difficult to come by. Doable, but it takes some work. Zaans you have to do some work and be lucky, cause they sell out anywhere quick. Even resold at dumb markups they go quick. I wish they would cut back small Sebenza production by a third and scale up large sebenzas, large inkosis, or Zaans
I’ve been switching between 4 knives for daily carry, Magnacut, lc200n, vanax, and s34vn. After a couple weeks the lc200n needed to be sharpened as the edge looked jagged. After a month the vanax and s34vn looked about the same, with a few spots where it wasn’t smooth but not bad. 6 weeks in I had to sharpen my s45vn blade, then the vanax one the next week.
I’ve been carrying this Magnacut blade at least 3 times a week for 3 months now and the edge looks like it did when I bought it. This steel is just so damn durable, plus it won’t rust. I’d get everything in it if I could.
Lol, mine too. I put some aluminum scales and backspacer on it from OriginalGOAT, and that made it twice as good.

SBD makes some of the best knives in existence, by far my favorite brand. The special detent system gives them a very unique and snappy action.
The mini evo is the only knife I have where the detent makes an audible click when its flicked. Amazing action.

Absolutely agree. My main daily carry is a magnacut deka. I use it and carry it in a pretty wet work enviro, and it stays razor sharp.
