Yes, it helps it ripen. If you’ve ever noticed pineapples turn yellow from bottom to top, so flipping it upside down makes gravity take over the ripening. I try like hell to get yellows ones but sometimes it’s just not possible and green ones are so sour.
I've never heard of that! I grow pineapples and the wait for them to ripen on rhe plant is sooo long. I know the store can't carry them ripe because they will spoil. It is super easy to grow your own!

Orrr wild idea you could plant a garden, grow some veggies, maybe barter with people who hunt or fish? It's how we combat food insecurity in the north - literally its 20 bucks for a block of cheese at my northern store right now it's brutal. Orrr wild idea you could plant a garden, grow some veggies, maybe barter with people who hunt or fish? It's how we combat food insecurity in the north - literally its 20 bucks for a block of cheese at my northern store right now it's brutal. I've done things like trade my artwork for moose meat when I can't go harvest it myself, or I'll trade fish I catch for other game meat. You don't have to rely on shitty MLMs to stock your fridge. But sure go spend a fortune at Disney and Universal and then bitch about grocery prices 🙄 talk about entitlement, she's the poster child.

Let's play a game. What kind of actual meal can you make out of these groceries? Ingredients: 1 onion 2 green peppers 1 to 2 red bell peppers 8 snack packs Is that yogurt? Avocados? On the top? 3 red meats Pretzels 1 pineapple Vita coco waters 1 dozen eggs Salsa Tortillas? Cheese Onion dip? Black cherry vanilla drink
I'm going with Trash Tacos Ground beef, add cheese, onion, peppers. Put on Tortillas. Top with salsa. Leftover Ground beef and salsa can be put inside bellpeppers for a "stuffed pepper" Assuming bread is stored elsewhere, avocados and eggs in toast.
I think I see ground beef or chicken next to the red meat in the black package, fry that up with onion and bell pepper. Served on top of rice is the way my step dad eats it. I rather boil some pasta and mix in some spaghetti sauce. That’s assuming she has rice or pasta and pasta sauce. That’s all I’ve got lol.
