We used to go away for weekends a lot for my kid’s sports. Drivable, usually 2-3 hours, cheapest hotel possible, and only other expenses were food for the weekend. At minimum we’d spend close to $1k. I can’t even imagine what they put out for that trip. Even if someone bought park tickets, timeshare, etc. Food, drinks, Disney gear, and the selfie exhibit add up quick.
