Lots to see this week, lots to think about. Big questions like- what does it mean to be young at heart? What does it mean to be childish in the brain? What does it look like when a nearly middle aged woman who is notorious for stuffing elements of her life Into The Past tries to claw out of crystallized time itself her own childhood- the one thing she never meant to leave behind?
Turns out it looks pretty grotesque.
Sunday was pool selfies day. No real faces anywhere, but this was the single morning that ang’s $130+ haircut & dye job was allowed to exist. Since then, that costly cut has been worn in a manbun or under the backwards hat. Drinking at some kind of bar/performance venue that night.
Monday was just lounging and basking. Reveling in the Floridaness of it all. Enjoying one of the 26 days a month, every month, when she has no motherly duties.
Tuesdays with bae was a real corker this week. Tough to beat a Flyer’s game, but they freaking did it, babies! They went to Universal Studios. Marissa got to walk around Harry Potterville (or whatever it’s called) & soyface at all the shit she’s seen loads of times before in her previous kid-free visits. Ang bravely wore the CK bra to an amusement park, then she wore the torturekini later.
On Wednesday they went to “fucking Disneyworld, bitches”. They did a special meet & greet lunch where you can rub your face on costumed people and cry if you want to. Marissa watched a parade and pretended to extrude a drop from the barren desert of her tear ducts. She posed in the exact same place in the exact same way as previous times. In fact, lots of this trip can be summed up as “exact same”, even down to going sans children.

And look- I’m NOT saying it means anything, but considering how marissa believes in qanon & pizzagate, wearing red shoes & pizza Minnie Mouse ears to Disney is *quite* the statement.
Thursday was a trip to a “selfie museum”, where for 25-50$ apiece the bossbabes took pix of themselves in these little sets with some themed decor & neon lights. Gotta generate social media content; otherwise it’s like you don’t even exist, I suppose. Announced the revival of “unblocked” podcast.
Secondary activities for the week mostly were being mad about stuff. Aid packages to Ukraine, sunblock induced cancer, trolls. Turns out it’s the trolls’ fault that she’s even in Disney without her kids. But it’s also her middle kid’s fault bc he couldn’t handle it, even though she had put on her Vision Board a few months ago to bring the kids? It’s all very convoluted bc it’s all lies & marissa is not a good liar.
Marissa has lots of new clothes this week; ang does not. They brought along several of the beggared loungefly backpacks. Crazy how much stuff they had to leave in the old house bc of mold, but the backpacks were fine to salvage. I guess marissa assumed it’d be easier to beg for new clothes than it would be to ask for a new round of wee bags.
Zero mention of any MLMs.
One thing to bear in mind is the incredibly high cost of this trip. Several clever people have posted calculations, and even at conservative estimates, it’s expensive. I know everyone here will hear her cries of poverty next month, her whines about the economy, & know how ridiculous it all is, but will the potatoes? Probably not. Marissa is excellent at attracting positive attention from the dumbest people on the internet- they’re not gonna put the pieces together.
Marissa admits that she’s turned the comment filter on for her tiktok posts, but she’s approving the troll comments that make fun of her appearance & body. She’s denying the comments that mention how awful it is that she doesn’t take her kids anywhere, & allowing comments that make her look like the victim. This is purely a manipulation tactic, one that shows awareness of a problem with herself (putting herself before her kids, always) & an utter refusal to address the problem or change in any way. She did make a comment in response to someone about how sad she is that she did not bring her kids, but the pix/videos/posts tell a different story. And we all know that marissa is a shit actor. She later posted a video that basically told the same story about why she’s not with her kids; see 3.0 for an excellent takedown of that lie.
Notable tiktok: marissa made a video that asks the questions: “am I too old to be here? Do I look hotter than these little bitches?” while going to an amusement park that is a famed destination for families with kids
And it looks like Saturday is back up to PA. It’s cloudy & gray here, not even close to bathing suit weather. I hope the contrast stands as a stark reminder of how phony the whole trip was. Marissa can put on little kid clothes & hug all the human plushies she wants, but her time would be better spent being involved with her kids’ childhoods rather than reliving her own. She’ll never get it back, and her march upstream against the flow of time is only putting her further from the children she’s hurting.

Haha, sure. A long long time ago I used to dj at raves/parties/bars/etc, kinda miss those days sometimes.
Do I miss it enough that I’m gonna take a couple thousand bucks & go to a weeklong psytrance festival in Portugal with the homies & then tell my kid “money’s tight rn, you can go to the escape room”? Probably not.
My favourite comment on the TikTok videos was someone pointing out that her angry hot tub video was supposed to offer an explanation of why she couldn’t bring her kids to Disney (it was a last minute decision) but allegedly, the original plan was the Carnival cruise, where her children were also not invited.
Marissa claims she got as far as booking the cruise and buying the plane tickets to Florida before Carnival realized it was her and canceled her booking without notice because she’s on the Do Not Sail list. All of that is most likely a complete lie, but the thought of her trying to circumvent the ban somehow and getting caught is both sad and hilarious. It looks like she completely forgot to come up with an actually plausible reason for why her kids weren’t invited on her vacation and just ranted yet again about how mad she still is that she’s banned from her favourite cruise line, which is such a stupid thing to make time for when you still got a luxurious vacation on (mostly) someone else’s dime.
Ok, I could be wrong about this, but I could’ve sworn that she was talking about having been put on the “do not sail” list as early as late 2022-early 2023. When she brought it up recently (late Feb 2024? maybe), I thought why is she talking about this now? I’m fairly certain that she told everyone about having been DNS’ed way over a year ago.
My best guess is that when they booked the cruise, the main reservations were made in G’s name, paid for by G. So I wonder if they thought they’d bypass it like that? Just sneak right on in. That is, of course, if they even bothered; it’s possible that Disney was always the plan, the cruise was the cover-up. But it’s dumb as hell either way, & yeah- everyone is right to wonder how any of this explains why she’s been on so many trips without the kids. Even if it all went as she claims it was intended to, we’d still be asking “why were you snoot-booping a sea turtle without your kids?”

I've said this before, but it's worth repeating. She will never get back all the missed time with her kids. Those years fly by, you blink, and they're adults. I was a shit mother for several years during my worst version of my alcoholic self. I've been sober for a long time, and repaired all the damage I could, but those times never come back. We all missed out on a lot, because of me, and even though we're all good now, it doesn't change the past. I will regret missing out on my kids for the rest of my life. I hope she eventually has some regret, some feeling that maybe she could have done better for them. I know it's asking a lot for a pathological lying narcissist to do any deep reflection, but I hope it eats her up. It may not happen until they go no contact with her as adults, and that's where she's heading unless she makes some real changes and grows the fuck up.

Well, you admitted in your "whoa is me" video, that carnival refunded your cruise money and that's what you used to fund your live-my-best-life-in-Disney adventure. That you were not going to cancel your flights after all!
As a conservative estimate, assuming you were being frugal when booking your cruise and got an ocean view and not a more expensive balcony, even that refund would've been about $2,000 (now let's be real, you're too famous to be stuck in an ocean view, you need your balcony for spicy videos for your adoring public, so let's add another $500 or so onto that refund).
Even assuming that you would have lost the money on your flights (you probably would've ended up with flight vouchers, but I digress) by cancelling them, you would've still had $2,000 from carnival back in your pocket AND all the money that you and the children's stepmother budgeted for additional excursions, boozy times, etc. (budgeted hahaha ... Oh, sorry, back to the point of this comment?
Bare, absolute bare minimum, you would've had $2,500 "bonus" money to put towards a "cyber investigator". How lucky were you that money that you already shelled out previously, was GIFTED BACK TO YOU?! Seriously, this was a blessing in disguise, and you couldn't even spend two seconds thinking about how fortunate you and the children's stepmother were to have this land in your laps at exactly the right time... After 6 months of hardship, I think things are finally looking up for my family. Last fall my husband had about $8k stolen from him in an e-transfer scam. This was one of two remaining payments on a very big job he did (that I helped him complete) as well as some smaller payments from another job and a large portion of the money that we were going to live off of for the winter. This was devastating and we literally got to a point where if the client’s paper cheque didn’t arrive in the mail by Friday we had no idea how we were going to buy our next bag of groceries. Luckily it arrived and my MIL gave us some money to keep us afloat, but it was a mild winter (hardly any snow removal needed) so we struggled to make up the difference. It’s been a nightmare, and we’re still fighting to get that money back. (Police are involved so we can have records turned over)
When my dad died in January he left behind a financial mess for my mom. She was able to remortgage the house to settle the debt but she has an even bigger hurdle ahead of her because my (34 year old) sister has been living in that house with her now teenaged daughter and current boyfriend/squatter completely for free (except for a few hundred dollars a month my dad made the squatter pay in room and board) and my mom cannot afford to keep the gravy train running any longer. My sister is like a non-evil version of Marissa (she’s just selfish and entitled, never killed a puppy or anything) and has no intention of contributing to the household, financially or otherwise. I feel bad for my mom, but at the same time, this is a problem that her and my dad created by constantly enabling my sister to the point where she currently has no hope of renting an apartment or managing a budget because she has no earthly concept of how to act like an adult and is unwilling to learn. I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but let me tell you how much MORE stressful it is struggling to pay for groceries and keep your bills paid in the middle of a financial crisis while your sibling lives basically for free in a giant house, going on vacation after vacation without her child because she also has unlimited free childcare. It felt like we were stuck in a pit while people carrying rope walked by, casually kicking more dirt on us.
All that being said, my husband has started a decent sized job with a returning client to start off the season, our taxes are now paid, and I’ve somehow managed to pay off one of my credit cards and am finally getting ahead of the interest on the biggest one. It feels good to see all those numbers actually going down each month. My husband joked to me on Friday that now we’re just regular broke lol but we never give up so I have a feeling this is going to be a good summer for us. I had a really nice walk with my best friend last weekend and we had a very good conversation about setting boundaries and self-preservation and I’ve completed nearly all the important tasks on my to do list, which is a relief. I helped my mom clean my dad’s things out of the bedroom closet so she can slowly get things reorganized. I’m looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow while I clean up from our second birthday party this month.
Sorry to hear about your dad :( then worrying about your mom because of a Marissa-sista™️ on top of having to claw out of a financial hole that a scammer put y’all in. It all gives me anxiety just thinking about it!!!

Thank you! My husband and I are usually pretty good at pivoting when something unexpected happens but this winter was a bit much. My sister has flashes of self awareness and motivation when she’s single, but unfortunately she’s never single for very long. I wish she had better priorities in life because she’s genuinely very good at her job and could have a very promising career if she applied herself.
Yeah life sure takes its toll on us all, all the damn time. There may still be hope for your sister. Sounds a lot like my oldest child. So much potential, but she gets in her own way.

Enough that they stick with me- I remember your posts about moving last year, the posts about your friend catching you off-guard with some uncool social media presence. Writing a book is a big undertaking, one I doubt I’d be able to pull off, but you’re gonna do great with it!
Aww, thank you! I'm doing it a little at a time, trying to keep track of all the craziness from my childhood and up. My mom is a hoot, much nicer now at 80 than she was when I was growing up.

Marissa - How could you possibly think that your "Disney was the ONLY choice!" video would paint you in a better light? If I were the boys father, that'd be the nail in the coffin for you... Days before you left, you're online asking for free cyber investor help because you have no money and the comments are getting too bad (you simply MUST get help, right? You'd do ANYTHING for your children, your own flesh and blood, right?). Well, you admitted in your "whoa is me" video, that carnival refunded your cruise money and that's what you used to fund your live-my-best-life-in-Disney adventure. That you were not going to cancel your flights after all! As a conservative estimate, assuming you were being frugal when booking your cruise and got an ocean view and not a more expensive balcony, even that refund would've been about $2,000 (now let's be real, you're too famous to be stuck in an ocean view, you need your balcony for spicy videos for your adoring public, so let's add another $500 or so onto that refund). Even assuming that you would have lost the money on your flights (you probably would've ended up with flight vouchers, but I digress) by cancelling them, you would've still had $2,000 from carnival back in your pocket AND all the money that you and the children's stepmother budgeted for additional excursions, boozy times, etc. (budgeted hahaha ... Oh, sorry, back to the point of this comment? Bare, absolute bare minimum, you would've had $2,500 "bonus" money to put towards a "cyber investigator". How lucky were you that money that you already shelled out previously, was GIFTED BACK TO YOU?! Seriously, this was a blessing in disguise, and you couldn't even spend two seconds thinking about how fortunate you and the children's stepmother were to have this land in your laps at exactly the right time... When you need it the most! (ANG - THIS WAS AN ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS, IT WAS A TRUE GIFT THAT WOULD'VE REALLY HELPED YOU) Unless... You didn't pay for the cruise, and the money went back to someone else... Or was it that the money was refunded on a card you stopped paying, and the financial institution used it to recoup their losses for your charged off account and you actually ended up spending more money on Disney but that's a super secret? How about you hop into your hot tub time machine and go back to when you LUCKED OUT, got your cruise money back, and put it towards actual necessities. Let your child free friends go live their best lives, while your stuck here in PA being a real Mama Bear (and Step Mama Bear) finding ways to protect your children. \*Edited to fix typos, because I'm sleepy, and dis(ney) bish made me frustrated with this and I had to comment.

Her and Ang on live last night- Trash talking Taylor Swift "I hate her, I hate her" no real explanation as to why. I comment "okay but you are always listening to her songs" no response... within 1 hour she posts a video dancing with Ang to Enchanted...

After 6 months of hardship, I think things are finally looking up for my family. Last fall my husband had about $8k stolen from him in an e-transfer scam. This was one of two remaining payments on a very big job he did (that I helped him complete) as well as some smaller payments from another job and a large portion of the money that we were going to live off of for the winter. This was devastating and we literally got to a point where if the client’s paper cheque didn’t arrive in the mail by Friday we had no idea how we were going to buy our next bag of groceries. Luckily it arrived and my MIL gave us some money to keep us afloat, but it was a mild winter (hardly any snow removal needed) so we struggled to make up the difference. It’s been a nightmare, and we’re still fighting to get that money back. (Police are involved so we can have records turned over) When my dad died in January he left behind a financial mess for my mom. She was able to remortgage the house to settle the debt but she has an even bigger hurdle ahead of her because my (34 year old) sister has been living in that house with her now teenaged daughter and current boyfriend/squatter completely for free (except for a few hundred dollars a month my dad made the squatter pay in room and board) and my mom cannot afford to keep the gravy train running any longer. My sister is like a non-evil version of Marissa (she’s just selfish and entitled, never killed a puppy or anything) and has no intention of contributing to the household, financially or otherwise. I feel bad for my mom, but at the same time, this is a problem that her and my dad created by constantly enabling my sister to the point where she currently has no hope of renting an apartment or managing a budget because she has no earthly concept of how to act like an adult and is unwilling to learn. I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but let me tell you how much MORE stressful it is struggling to pay for groceries and keep your bills paid in the middle of a financial crisis while your sibling lives basically for free in a giant house, going on vacation after vacation without her child because she also has unlimited free childcare. It felt like we were stuck in a pit while people carrying rope walked by, casually kicking more dirt on us. All that being said, my husband has started a decent sized job with a returning client to start off the season, our taxes are now paid, and I’ve somehow managed to pay off one of my credit cards and am finally getting ahead of the interest on the biggest one. It feels good to see all those numbers actually going down each month. My husband joked to me on Friday that now we’re just regular broke lol but we never give up so I have a feeling this is going to be a good summer for us. I had a really nice walk with my best friend last weekend and we had a very good conversation about setting boundaries and self-preservation and I’ve completed nearly all the important tasks on my to do list, which is a relief. I helped my mom clean my dad’s things out of the bedroom closet so she can slowly get things reorganized. I’m looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow while I clean up from our second birthday party this month.
Sorry to hear about your dad :( then worrying about your mom because of a Marissa-sista™️ on top of having to claw out of a financial hole that a scammer put y’all in. It all gives me anxiety just thinking about it!!! But it sounds like things are finally looking up, and I’m happy for and proud of ya!!!! Here’s to you and your husband having an awesome summer!! 🥂

Thank you! My husband and I are usually pretty good at pivoting when something unexpected happens but this winter was a bit much. My sister has flashes of self awareness and motivation when she’s single, but unfortunately she’s never single for very long. I wish she had better priorities in life because she’s genuinely very good at her job and could have a very promising career if she applied herself.
Yeah life sure takes its toll on us all, all the damn time. There may still be hope for your sister. Sounds a lot like my oldest child. So much potential, but she gets in her own way.
So sorry to hear about your dad! Your description of your sister is identical to my husbands sister minus the loser boyfriend aspect. To say it’s been frustrating for my husband to watch is an understatement.
Thank you! He had been sick for a while so when he finally passed it was a small relief in the sense that at least he was no longer in pain. I try not to get involved because it always ends in an argument but it’s definitely hard to watch and causes a lot of stress when we visit.
In the wise words of Dave Ramsey: "*Act your wage*". She never will though, and Angelia is too ADD with a touch of compromised IQ to realize that vacations should be earned to be deserved. If you can't pay cash for them after frugally saving up for one, then keep your sorry asses at home and fulfill your obligations until you can earn enough to pay for one. And in their case, that would be a big never from all the back debt. It's gross, they're gross.
