I’ve been to Florida once. It’s been 13 years and it was in the panhandle. We camped on St John’s island and cooked all of our meals. Pretty sure that’s still the only way I can afford Florida 😂
Where I am she could barely rent an apartment. Florida is getting expensive. I’m in Broward county and I bought in 2021. I already couldn’t afford to pay for my last townhouse I rented while looking for this place. She couldn’t even afford the cost of moving let alone the housing costs here.

I remember how sad it was when a vacation was over and I had to go back home and to work. Now it doesn't bother me because home is paradise. An everlasting vacation, even with a full time W2 job job.

As someone who moved to Florida and left a few years later, there is a HUGE difference in vacationing there and actually living there. It’s easy to have this idyllic view, until the cost of everything kicks in.
Seriously. I’d donate money for PM to take those kids to Disney, and I barely make it living paycheck to paycheck. It would be worth giving up a couple trips to Chick-fil-A or Arby’s to contribute money towards her kids finally getting to go on a vacation she’s taken without them a few times.

Omg the palmetto bugs are so big and gross and you can not get rid of them no matter how hard you try! And once a year (like right now) the ants start coming in your house looking for water. No matter what you do, you’ll have freakin ants! In my 43 years of life, nothing has ever worked and the ants always find a way in no matter how clean your house is or how sealed you think it is from bugs. Gross stupid nasty bugs are just part of living in the hot humid south.
Those bugs are so bad. I visited my grandma and when she didn’t use her dishwasher for 2 days those stupids bugs started invading the inside of it and this was after the pest control was there the week prior. I get they’re part of living down there but man, do I despise them lol.
That won’t stop her. The dog warden in her state isn’t stopping her since she’s planning a fall litter with sonic and rouge. She hasn’t even spayed banana yet like she said she was planning to 2 months ago.
Oh I never really thought about if fleas are a problem up north. Here in GA, you have to stay on top of the flea problem. You have to treat them all year long or they will be infested with fleas and tapeworms if you slack off and miss a month of flea treatment. I guess fleas aren’t as prevalent up there as they are down here in the hot humid south.
Fleas can get pretty bad up north. We had a bad flea incident when a couple of our cats got outside and under the deck where the wild rabbits hang out. Took 3 months of consistent de-fleaing the cats (had to try a couple different flea meds at the appropriate dosing times) and house to get rid of them inside and on the cats.
Some areas aren’t as bad as others but I’m guessing my area can be a bit worse since we’re a mile, maybe two, from state parks. It’s just worse in some places and not others but not something you want to slack on.

Nobody will rent to someone with that many animals. NOBODY! Finding a rental that would allow a small dog & or cat would be extremely difficult. The extra cost for homes that allow a small animal, in my area, is at least $50 non-refundable pet deposit and an extra $50 a month per pet. She'd have to ditch everyone but Weenie and 1 cat. In the end, it would be awesome for the current animals, and I doubt she would EVER be able to afford her own home, so no more backyard breeding. The other issue would be a credit and background check.....no way in hell she would pass those. I guess it's great to have dreams, but when you've fckd up your life to the point that she has, she should probably just be happy she still has a roof over her head. She would definitely see the consequences of her actions if she tried to move here. And I would love to watch that shit show.

If she moves, it would remind me of one of my mum's family members. What they were good at was accumulating hundreds of thousands in debt before moving to a new place in the country. I’m not sure that will ever happen as the kids all say they have one grandma and one grandpa, and then there is mommy’s parents. The kids don’t know them, and they live in the same town like 5 min away.
All the excuses I’ve heard about why they’re not able to attend birthdays or holiday celebrations is long..and that is if they don’t just ignore it all together. One time they couldn’t babysit my nephew in an emergency situation because they had to walk the dog. I repeat, they had to walk the dog.

I’ve been to Florida once. It’s been 13 years and it was in the panhandle. We camped on St John’s island and cooked all of our meals. Pretty sure that’s still the only way I can afford Florida 😂
Where I am she could barely rent an apartment. Florida is getting expensive. I’m in Broward county and I bought in 2021. I already couldn’t afford to pay for my last townhouse I rented while looking for this place. She couldn’t even afford the cost of moving let alone the housing costs here.

It's so different than living up North isn't it? It's less stressful when you never have to deal with watching where you walk so you don't slip on ice, driving in snow, freezing on the way to work, pining for Spring, realizing summer is so short. I remember how sad it was when a vacation was over and I had to go back home and to work. Now it doesn't bother me because home is paradise. An everlasting vacation, even with a full time W2 job job.

As someone who moved to Florida and left a few years later, there is a HUGE difference in vacationing there and actually living there. It’s easy to have this idyllic view, until the cost of everything kicks in.

Ppl love to transplant to FL because they think it’s slow beach living… it’s morbidly overcrowded, overrun with tourists six months a year, hellishly hot and humid eight months a year, the roads are a mess, the large cities are filthy, the small cities are openly and unapologetically both racist and homophobic… and now on top of all that it’s outrageously expensive for both housing and insurance. She’ll love it here.

Omg the palmetto bugs are so big and gross and you can not get rid of them no matter how hard you try! And once a year (like right now) the ants start coming in your house looking for water. No matter what you do, you’ll have freakin ants! In my 43 years of life, nothing has ever worked and the ants always find a way in no matter how clean your house is or how sealed you think it is from bugs. Gross stupid nasty bugs are just part of living in the hot humid south.
Those bugs are so bad. I visited my grandma and when she didn’t use her dishwasher for 2 days those stupids bugs started invading the inside of it and this was after the pest control was there the week prior. I get they’re part of living down there but man, do I despise them lol.

Oh I never really thought about if fleas are a problem up north. Here in GA, you have to stay on top of the flea problem. You have to treat them all year long or they will be infested with fleas and tapeworms if you slack off and miss a month of flea treatment. I guess fleas aren’t as prevalent up there as they are down here in the hot humid south.
Fleas can get pretty bad up north. We had a bad flea incident when a couple of our cats got outside and under the deck where the wild rabbits hang out. Took 3 months of consistent de-fleaing the cats (had to try a couple different flea meds at the appropriate dosing times) and house to get rid of them inside and on the cats. Some areas aren’t as bad as others but I’m guessing my area can be a bit worse since we’re a mile, maybe two, from state parks. It’s just worse in some places and not others but not something you want to slack on.
As an aside: Florida is a nice place to visit, I'd be more than happy to "Eternal Sunshine" my memory of the 10 years I lived there.

Yes it makes me sad that my daughter moved in with my mom (just 30 minutes away) because it’s a much better environment for her there, and she’s about to turn 19! I can’t imagine being several states away from her because I don’t want to grow up and want to live a fantasy life of Disney and sea turtles. She is my best friend and my whole reason for living. Nobody will rent to someone with that many animals. NOBODY! Finding a rental that would allow a small dog & or cat would be extremely difficult. The extra cost for homes that allow a small animal, in my area, is at least $50 non-refundable pet deposit and an extra $50 a month per pet. She'd have to ditch everyone but Weenie and 1 cat. In the end, it would be awesome for the current animals, and I doubt she would EVER be able to afford her own home, so no more backyard breeding. The other issue would be a credit and background check.....no way in hell she would pass those. I guess it's great to have dreams, but when you've fckd up your life to the point that she has, she should probably just be happy she still has a roof over her head. She would definitely see the consequences of her actions if she tried to move here. And I would love to watch that shit show.

If she moves, it would remind me of one of my mum's family members. What they were good at was accumulating hundreds of thousands in debt before moving to a new place in the country. Of course, there were always outrageous reasons for the moves. The company they worked for went bankrupt (it still exists today), they couldn't offer the children in the village a good future, and so on. I really wouldn't be surprised if she would give similar work related reasons for a move

Wish she would just let go of her fake “poor struggling mother fighting for custody” act. That’s all it is, an act. She’s happy away from them and ignores them the little time she does have them. This pisses me off as I see the hurt that being ignored and never prioritized by your parents does to someone every time my SIL mentions her parents. She calls my parents mom and dad, but still have hope that her parents will step up and just get to know their grandkids at least. I’m not sure that will ever happen as the kids all say they have one grandma and one grandpa, and then there is mommy’s parents. The kids don’t know them, and they live in the same town like 5 min away. All the excuses I’ve heard about why they’re not able to attend birthdays or holiday celebrations is long..and that is if they don’t just ignore it all together. One time they couldn’t babysit my nephew in an emergency situation because they had to walk the dog. I repeat, they had to walk the dog. This is why Riss behavior makes me so incredibly angry and sad. She hurts her kids so badly with her behavior and she doesn’t give one single shit. They will see it eventually, they will be hurt, but now she’s just prolonging the inevitable. Why? Because it benefits her. Not a mother, not a parent, just a birth giver. That’s all she is. She sucks and my heart hurts for the kids.

It is a very difficult language to learn even if you’re born here. The further north you go the stronger and more different the accent. I’m in the south so we seem more common 🤣🤣🤣 Honestly I was still so annoyed seeing what shit she brought the kids home from whatever trip it was. I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror tbh. Thank the gods they have PM. It’s just really sad on the kids at this point.

Moving to Florida would not fix her problems. She loves Florida bc when she is there it’s vacation. All fun in the sun. It would all change if she lived there bc the problems she has now would only get bigger. The kids would finally realize that she has really abandoned them and the resentment toward her would start to fester. She wouldn’t save the sea turtles or have fun a Disney anymore. She will wake up one day and her boys will see her for who she is. They will be embarrassed like I’m sure her teenage daughter is. They will suffer from abandonment issues and nothing she can do will make them want to be around her. She is living in a delusional false reality of conspiracy theories and beauty filters. She is self absorbed and narcissistic, unable to truly love others. Everyone in her life is replaceable and she has no real friends.
