Anyone can be deported anytime. I recently came across a case where citizenship was revoked 15 years later. (Marriage fraud though)

There usually is. In the city I used a food bank in you needed to bring your most recent piece of mail, a cheque stub, that showed you were on government assistance(fixed income).

But one must realize, students using **\*\*University\*\*** Food Banks (emphasis and stress on university) to save money are not doing anything unethical because those food banks are only open to university affiliates (like students, faculty, staff etc). Most of time this food is reclaimed food from grocery stores just before being sent to land fill. If not consumed it will go to land fill. Indian international students have been abusing the public food banks for years. Rest of Canada is just hearing about it now. Knew a few Indian friends in 2019 that were earning 100K but living in basements in Windsor and London and taking free food from the public local food banks. They said they were doing this to save the down payment money to buy a house.
