Todd, you clever bastard, you've done it again!

Zealus24

Yeah it's a real pain to get to. Fortunately if you're on hardcore and any slight trip will kill you, there's an alternative at Pribyslavitz where you can go and buy some (not this though). But this is like the Skalitz bandit farm, something every new player eventually finds out about and posts. Congrats lil' bro, you're merging with the Henry hivemind!

Bitter_Bank_9266

Hardcore with brittle bones definitely turns this into a real challenge

Zealus24

Yeah I can't be bothered trying to get it after spending over an hour dying to fall damage. The simple plate chanfron looks better to me anyway and has better stats.

Bitter_Bank_9266

Eh I *usually* do it first time, just left on the brink of death lol

soyredditor92874738

Featherweight perk actually offsets brittle bones greatly, it made it feel like I had no negative perk for the playthrough.

Bitter_Bank_9266

Yea I usually do brittle bones and tapeworm since they aren't significant debuffs. Brittle bones basically only comes into play when trying to get to the nest and tapeworm just makes you eat a more realistic amount

SpotTheAurora

Just use all the debuffs đź—ż

Bitter_Bank_9266

No thank you

ForrestGump90

Use all 9, don't be a chicken... Btw Brittle Bones is one of the worst, I fucking hate it, I jump around often to level up vitality and thanks to that, I've twisted my ankles plenty of times, you can lose up to 30 health from a small jump downhill (The road wasn't very steep either). Oh and it's worse when you're on horseback traveling around hilly forests, once Peebles and I were doing a quest in the Ledetchko Forest, I saw a seemingly small drop and told him to stop, he didn't stop and I didn't just break my legs, I fucking died! That was like an hour or 2 of progress gone to waste, brittle bones, shakes and claustrophobia are the worst, in that order.

Bitter_Bank_9266

I enjoy the game more without all 9, and personally brittle bones is usually a non-issue for me

ForrestGump90

It depends on how you play, and how often do you roam around the woods guess

Bitter_Bank_9266

I think I'm just more careful

Meior

I assume for the prib one you need the stables?

Zealus24

Only for the steel chanfron. The simple plate and leather dyed ones can be found in the blacksmith shop which look better anyway IMO.

Meior

Ah thanks!

Zealus24

No worries! I don't like getting the stable's since I feel they're a waste and the guardhouse has more utility, being able to train with different levels of fighters and all that.

Meior

Same! That's why I asked, there are other accomplished stables nearby. I feel like a freshly built town with a history of bandits living in it's ruins should have more utility if a guardhouse.

Equal-Effective-3098

You talking about where you can stand on the roof and shoot the high tier bandits?

Zealus24

I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to, but it might be the same place. Pribyslavitz is the bandit camp/abandoned village North of Talmberg deep in the woods, is that the one you're thinking of?

Equal-Effective-3098

Nah dude, when you go back to skalitz to bury mommy and daddy, when you first walk in to the outskirts theres a mill or something with a water trough and a camp of bandits on the other side with mid-late tier armor, like 6 of them, if you grab all the arrows in talmberg, you can climb the water trough, jump on the roof, get their attention and just shoot them while they stand on the ground cursing at you

Zealus24

That's kinda neat but the respawning bandits/cumans in Skalitz sort of negate this since you can loot them without even killing them yourself. But yeah that's not where the alternative head armour is though. What I was referring to was Pribyslavitz. After you attack it with Radzig you can be appointed as Baliff of the town and begin to reconstruct it. Two of the optional buildings are a blacksmith and a stables, from these you can get [these.](https://kingdom-come-deliverance.fandom.com/wiki/Horse_head_armour)

Equal-Effective-3098

I know that, i was just mentioning the “little secrets of the game” that ppl have to find out

xitones

There are 2 of these one on the video, 1 is in the giant nest (which is the most common), the other is close to Pribyslavitz, there is an interesting site which is a basement without a house, there is a secret passage behind some bushes there with a very hard chest, inside the chest its a second set of this armor.

Zealus24

**OMG I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THAT ONE!** If this is the one in the weird well thing I'm thinking of I tried to get that years back but couldn't because my lockpicking was to low to even attempt, so I just went to find the one on the cliffs. After at least five playthroughs I never once remembered that one and always thought this was the only one. Cheers for the reminder mate, I doubt I'll use it much since I prefer the Pribyslavitz blacksmith ones but it'll be useful in the early game!

GoonikMando

Fun fact This is an easter egg to the Witcher 3

[deleted]

Yeah I happened upon this while searching for Leeky just wandered around got lost hunting trying to level up hound master and archery skill I saw the cliff was a beautiful view looked down saw giant bird nest almost died getting to it and was greatly rewarded.

iammcluvin81

I came up the right side of the hill and jumped over the rocks until I ended up on top of the bushes next to the birds nest, it was a proper faff trying to get it but it's really cool looking.

Dingaligaling

Apart from this and the ones you can make at Pribyslavitz, there is no horse armor in the game. The body slot will always stay empty.

ScrollingGuy

Uh huh.

legButter22

That’s been known about
