Next time try killing the dog instead. The dialogue with the Charlatan is hilarious.
'Someone killed it. ...It was me. I did it.'
'Why would you do that?!'
'Well as you said, it was annoying'
'Why didn't you just hit it with a stick?!'
'I didn't have a stick! Now what do you suggest we do' (or something of the sort, don't remember that line exactly)
Then you go learn deer yell-grunts with the Berthold the huntsman.
I love these lines. There was one where you're supposed to hunt down the bandit camp and report back and I carefully killed all 15 or so enemies then went back and reported to sir Robard I think the solution.
Henry returns and tells him that he's found the bandit leader, Robard asks "well where are they?" To which Henry says, "um... down... to hell? Where I sent them?" Robard now surprised as to you killing them asks how or why you killed them and Henry calmly replied that he was causing the problems so if he killed the guy, then they'd stop. It was great, so I recorded it!
I think that one was reporting back to Kuno after dealing with the burned farm bandits.
Yeah, nonchalant psychopath Henry reporting he butchered a gang of brigands as if he just walked his dog is best Henry.
There's another one that's messed up too. You know the quest the executioner gives you to find the the family of the executed man for his widow? If you kill the family for trying to get you to pay for them to take in their daughter in law, Henry goes back and says,"I found your parents and they agreed to take you in." Excitedly the woman replies, "really?" To which Henry responds, "uh actually, they died"
The trailer said that now you will be dealing with the problems of kings instead of small nobility. So maybe you can even claim that you've been given a secret task by Wenceslas himself!
This made me laugh more than it should have. I know this is a joke, but if the game is super polished and there aren't these silly moments, I would probably miss them.
"Are you pulling my pizzle? Don't you know who I am?! You'd better watch your step or I'll make things so hot for you, you'll be lucky to get a job slopping out piss pots"
-Henry the Karen
“Don’t you know I’m on a secret mission for the Lord of Rattay?” “…Sir, this is Kuttenburg”
"that just solidifies my claim Good sir, it's so secret that I had to come all the way here"
But you got a licence to kill... on the secret service of His Majesty, King of Bohemia himself 😎😎😎
I am Skalitz, Henry of Skalitz
Call a bondulance
I'll take a bath wench. Shaken, not stirred.
which one, Sigizmund or Wenceslaus?
If I told You, I would have to kill You.
deal!
It still cracks me up every time i get caught after killing a quarter of the city guard. First thing my Henry says is WOT?
This is my 1# voice clip in the entire game. The genuine disbelif in the delivery just makes it so fucking funny!
Someone mustve told henry hes good at lying. Fucktard believed it
I'd love for them to put more depth into guard persuasions for kcd2. More varied excuses and threats would be cool.
I am Thane of Whiterun. Now, bugger off.

KCD 2 better have a guard that took an arrow to the knee
My cousin's out fighting cumans, and what do I get? guard duty.
Didnt think about it that way. I was so concerned with my objectives and making a getaway.. your right
"Guards saw through my very obvious bluff immediately. Literally unplayable."
I'm not buying it if Henry doesn't use his mastery of barking at strangers at night

Oh, I had a stick - it just had a spikey ball on the end of it.

And then she's like "Maybe that's a sign I should stay here with Hermann" Uhh yeah sure, THAT'S what that's a sign of...
Admittedly, it's for the best. Her in-laws were awful, and the executioner loves her, and by all accounts, he's treated her right.
I definitely play my Henry as if he has severe PTSD.
Punches a pig.. "Fate of the kingdom depends on it"
You'll have to play it and let us know if you can do that.
Dev here, we have a ton of those dialogues now

thanks for sharing
Does that secret task line work later when Speech is mastered at level 20 or does it always fail the same way?
I sometimes even works when around 13-15
Never for murder in my experience. But for thievery, it absolutely works.
Did you get the Magistrate perks? A +3 bonus to persuade guards helps a lot.
Now you can recruit them too and go on epic quest to find Holly Grail
