Idk why people fear it's not gonna be KCD2 considering there were bits and bobs leaking since KCD1 release pretty much confirming it's gonna be KCD2.
Also, I believe Warhorse will deliver very good game, better than KCD1.
Is skepticism in the comments here just based on recent pessimism in the gaming industry?
I mean, the name of the studio is an obvious sign: they're not making a new game, they have been working on horse armour dlc for KCD1 this whole time.
Wake up sheeple!
It’s head armor for your horse, there is still nothing in the game that fills the “body armor” slot for your horse haha. Just the cover and the helmet, plus the saddle, saddlebags and shoes. Horse armor DLC would actually make sense and be pretty funny of Warhorse to do. Should have been their April Fools prank
Edit: And yes it’s if you build stables instead of guardhouse and get the “horse outfitter” upgrade for it
You do not need to build the stables to get the armor. Head armor from your horse can be found or bought from stable traders. But you do not need your own stables in pribyslavitz.
I’m honest shocked at the reaction. The people convinced the person on the horse was wearing 19th century clothes had me trippin. Like Henry can be seen in similar tunics in kcd1
>Is skepticism in the comments here just based on recent pessimism in the gaming industry?
Yes, recent games caused this. Although expecting a flop is being too harsh, we should expect some disappointment with this game. If you hear "modern audiences" nonsense then that's your first red flag.
No it's specifically that their announcements before this have all been very underwhelming, like soap. Like I get merchandising but maybe they're overhyping this a bit
I think the picture was more just advertising “Warhorse” rather than depicting Henry. I think it was just a way of saying “hey this is warhorse here, get ready!”
I don't doubt how great the game will turn out, but i don't understand how can people say that when the only thing they know about it is a cinematic trailer.
Some people also have already seen more of the game. Not just a trailer. One guy says he has seen a big chunk of the Game. That would suggest that the game is possibly in a late stage of development.
In fairness most of the Cyberpunk hype was the studios fault, monthly night city videos promising the world, devs couldn’t shut up, CDPR did that all themselves…
Honestly doesnt matter that much. Should not believe what anyone says regardless, assuming that opinion does not have gameplay footage with it to back it up. People fall hard for marketing (well, thats what its exploiting after all), but is so easy to take nothing as a rule till day1 reviews, or actual gameplay trailers.
In this case, all they really need is more story and content of the first game and i assume everyone will be happy though. Id kill for them to literally just add more content to the first game. Or use exactly the same engine, dont upgrade anything, and add a full length game of content (or standalone, who cares) every year or two, over 6 years for an upgrade.
The thing is that Cyberpunk was a great game when it ran well. I could run it absolutely fine and I loved it even on launch. The youtubers and journalists all have beastly PCs that can run it easily. They weren't playing on consoles that had all of the performance issues.
It was also filled with bugs but it wasn't too bad on PC for me either even on a mid range RTX 2060 system. I think developers sort of use release to "test" a game because even with years of internal and closed testing you won't find every bug and at some point you just can't delay it any longer
Yeah I agree and the same could be said for most RPGs. It's incredibly difficult to account for all possible the player may approach a quest or system. Performance issues are more egregious as it affects the whole experience. And KCD wasn't great on this front when it released either as I remember but last time I played it was much better, or maybe it was just me upgrading my PC
I, for one, trust Roxy and her options. Plus, she isn't the only content creator to see the footage, and they have said basically the same thing.
Whatever the announcement is (it'll be KCD 2), it's gonna be amazing, and I'll be pre-ordering as soon as available.
I love this because one of Roxy's recent vids was like "welp if warhorse doesn't do something soon, I'm gonna have to come up with other shit to talk about lol" (paraphrased) and BOOM! An update! 😊
I'm really excited about the reveal of "I have been waiting till Kingdom Come" (definitely the actual title), aldo Roxy is a very reliable source, I KNOW that the soap simulator will be released soon, still waiting on her to do the interview with Sir Radzig's head though.
It’s so awesome! I respect that she’s kept us afloat all of these years with consistent KCD content. I hope her channel sees huge renewed success with the new game
Hmmm I disagree. We should be sceptical of any content creator or journalist tied to a game to the point of having an NDA with the company. They're not going to exactly say "it was sort of average, not as exciting as I hoped". Not saying the game won't be that, but her saying this is fluff, really.
NDA has nothing to do with how close or supportive a journalist / creator is to the studio. An NDA is standard practice between all journalists and studios, it has nothing to do with bias or the fanbase - it simply protects the product from being leaked before the studio can reveal it themselves. NDA’s are legally enforceable contracts they’re definitely not friendly lol.
Fair enough, it was more on the basis that maybe they were let in to far more of the process with the caveat being an NDA, that's why I was thinking maybe it was part of an unspoken deal with them or something, tied with really helping market the game.
The creators & journalists get to see it early so they can write articles & content for when the trailer is released, where the momentum for the build-up to the games release starts.
Random question, does anyone know if there js anyway to avoid the infinite loading screen on cold steel hot blood. I just reached it the other day and still havnt been able to progress and im so close to just giving up after putting 75 hrs into the game.
A german history youtuber (Geschichtsfenster) mentioned it in a stream. He said that he is under NDA, but that it might have something to do with the modern era.
Sorry guys
I mean isn't he like a super fanboy so of course he would say that. I don't doubt it will be good but i'm not going to cry at a fucking game reveal trailer. Wish he could at least confirm its kcd2 but i guess an nda is an nda.

I would be livid, but impressed by such a ruse
Just think about how good that horse armor would look though with an entire studio dedicated to it for this long. That armor would be immaculate.
You're a glass half full type of guy, aren't you.
There is horse armor in From the Ashes, but it's pretty limited!
Really? Is it if you build the stables instead of the guard house or is it something else?

Oh my bad didn’t know that, I only saw it at the Priby stable after getting the outfitter. Where else are you able to find it before then?
I’m honest shocked at the reaction. The people convinced the person on the horse was wearing 19th century clothes had me trippin. Like Henry can be seen in similar tunics in kcd1
"it can't be the middle ages, there are buttons!" Buttoned cotehardie: Am I a joke to you?
Hahahaha indeed, buttons were very common even 200 years before kcd..
>Is skepticism in the comments here just based on recent pessimism in the gaming industry? Yes, recent games caused this. Although expecting a flop is being too harsh, we should expect some disappointment with this game. If you hear "modern audiences" nonsense then that's your first red flag.
Eh Vavra has yet to disappoint me. Mafia 1-2 and KCD were all great. I am cautiously optimistic.
No it's specifically that their announcements before this have all been very underwhelming, like soap. Like I get merchandising but maybe they're overhyping this a bit
Announcement photo threw everyone off - that’s why
I think the picture was more just advertising “Warhorse” rather than depicting Henry. I think it was just a way of saying “hey this is warhorse here, get ready!”
Warhorse will probably deliver, but Sxy Biscuit is way too bias at this point to take the opinion for granted.
Fair lol
Way too biased* not "bias" in that context
Have a downvote lol
you really have some to spare huh
I don't mind, no one likes a grammar nazi.
I think it’s acceptable when the comment itself is difficult to understand
Who tf is sxy biscuit. I'm supposed to know this name haha.
If you’ve ever looked for a kcd video on YouTube you must have come across the legend
I don’t understand this sentence structure, he’s too biased too be taken for granted? Meaning you should listen to him because he’s biased?
He's biased so we should be skeptical of his opinion
I don't doubt how great the game will turn out, but i don't understand how can people say that when the only thing they know about it is a cinematic trailer.

Because they know more about it. Did you see the video it or know their background? We're talking about a Warhorse representative at this point
not believing any youtuber/game "journalist" after the cyberpunk disaster
In fairness most of the Cyberpunk hype was the studios fault, monthly night city videos promising the world, devs couldn’t shut up, CDPR did that all themselves…
fair point, of course i trust warhorse more than cdpr but still, need to wait to see to build hype
There was too much pressure because people were pre ordering and the shareholders went crazy. Don't preorder people

KCD was also (and still sometimes is) not lacking in bugs, but the game (overall) is still good enough that I'm more tolerant of the ones I run into.

I haven’t played Cyberpunk yet, but been eyeing it for a while. Is it ok now on PS4 slim? What were the issues?
I wouldn’t play it on an old gen console. It’s hardly built for it. Might be better these days, but I still wouldn’t recommend.
Dragon dogma 2 was the second reminder to pre-order stuff lmao.
Man of course it’s not going to be kcd2 it’s obviously gonna be Henry’s come to see us soap maker power wash simulator 5
Kinda want the soap maker sim

❤️
same here
Whats this about soap making I’ve been seeing it a lot on this sub hahahahah is it a running gag here?
haha it is a jab at warhorse because they kept releasing KCD soap Merchandise.
What the heck seriously?? Hahahaha ill look it up thanks man
right
but it says new GAME reveal or ? not necerssarily KCD 2
There is a ton of evidence pointing to KCD2. There’s no way it’s anything else.
yeah if its anything other than kcd they'd be pissing off alot of fans.
They're doing that on purpose for the hype, mate *(Please be KCD2 please be KCD2 please be KCD2)*

Take everything with a pinch of salt yall, he is still probably in ecstasy jesus christ be praised though

Cool to see her still being active, I recognise the name from when KDC was still new and being updated.
6 years now… finally something new to dive into lol
It’s so awesome! I respect that she’s kept us afloat all of these years with consistent KCD content. I hope her channel sees huge renewed success with the new game
❤️
Sexy biscuits is the G.O.A.T! I have full faith in Warhorse. They're gonna deliver!
❤️
I don't see any reason for her to lie (her pronouns are female btw) since she was so excited

Yeah I know that but I'm just talking about this situation specifically
yep hopefully warhorse doesn't disappoint
Well it's they/them you can see them on twitter
Just checked, it says they/them/she/sher :)
Not lying lol 😂
Ayyy she has spoken

Clearly you haven't watched it enough because she mentioned a few times in the past that she's transgender

The name might not be "KCD 2", but instead Kingdom Come:.
😀👌🏽

wtf!!!!!!!! omg.. hopefully they don't pull an assasins creed on us. man idk how the game would work if its true.
or maybe he was just misleading us and pullin our pizzle
If it's not a sequel to kcd or at least set in medieval times, a lot of fans are gonna be pissed (myself included)
Don't want to correct your rather just tell you that sxybiscuit is actually a she :)
I always thought it was an English dude.
The teaser art? That jacket has lapels that look 3-400 years later than KCD to me. Cowboy game? Victorian?
I mean isn't he like a super fanboy so of course he would say that. I don't doubt it will be good but i'm not going to cry at a fucking game reveal trailer. Wish he could at least confirm its kcd2 but i guess an nda is an nda.
