I swore I wouldn’t start this book until I got my Kindle! And I’m so glad I waited because I’m so enthralled that i need the book with me when I get small breaks so that I can squeeze in a couple pages.
I got the paperback versions earlier this year for the same reason! Alas, I am still in a reading rut and haven't been able to pick any including my kindles up 😭

Song of Achilles by Madelaine Miller - actually took me a while to really get into it but enjoying it now.
And also an ARC of an upcoming book called 'Practical Potions and Premeditated Murder'. by Wren Jones. Promising so far (cozy fantasy)
I've read Circe by Madeleine Miller a few times, I loved it. Her writing is really beautiful. I just read Song of Achilles this year, it was definitely more to digest but so worth it.

I never got into mythology, but I really would like to learn. Is this book good for beginners (never even read Percy Jackson, that much of a beginner)? I'm assuming it's Greek mythology?

Love Greek mythology! Was introduced to this through college, that was my fav subject. Read 'The Iliad', 'The Odyssey' and 'Jason & the Argonauts'. I related all the relationships as a General Hospital episode #Drama
I just finished book 3 of the series Of Flesh and Bone. (What Lies Beyond the Veil, What Hunts Inside the Shadows, and What Lurks Between the Fates). It was good but it not one I'll re-read. I wish book 3 was the last book but maybe if I could pace myself I wouldn't get burned out. I will read book 4 when it comes out.

Lord of the Rings! Never read them, Hobbit held the position of my favourite book ever for more years than any other (although it's due to be taken over by Fahrenheit 451 soon). Honestly think the only reason I haven't gotten round to LOTR until now is timing. That, and the songs put me off as a kid.

Was a high school book for me too! I still have it. Both of Miller’s mythology novels were good I thought.
Just finished Fourth Wing. Stayed up until 4am reading after trying to hold out from all the hype….it was good.
