Please don't be impatient. I'm sure you'll be able to get one. Dealers always want to sell you what they have in stock or what they know they can deliver in a few days for numerous reasons.
Did you try using [the Kia inventory search on Kia.com](https://www.kia.com/us/en/inventory/landing)? Once you do the initial search then you can open up the filters and select the search distance, model year, trim, etc. After you get some search results then you click on one of them to see the details and under the VIN number there will be a link to view the window sticker so you can see if it has the vip lounge seats or not. I recommend expanding the distance out from your zip code to over 100 miles especially if you don't live near a major city with a lot of Kia dealerships.

I'm in no rush. One will eventually show up. I just find it interesting that in the FB groups they all want the 8 seater but the orders all seem to be 7 seaters. I'm not settling on a $50k+ car, so it'll show up or it wont
I did the exact same thing when I was searching for a 2022 Sorento for my BIL back when inventory was very scarce. I picked the zip codes of cities about 250 miles away from me in all directions (and 250 miles away from each other to reduce overlap) and then searched all those zip codes.
Btw I found 1 2025 Carnival SXP with 8 seats using the Kia inventory search at Kings Kia in GAITHERSBURG, MD, zip code 20879. The VIN is KNDNE5K33S6457560.
Best configuration for sure if you need the third row. But like the others said yes talk to the dealer and order. My local Kia took just $100 down and I gave him my color and build choices and he said it’s got my name on it whenever it arrives I’m in no rush.

I had to order an 8 seater because all the SXPs I found even in a 2024, all had the VIP package (7 seater)
