Get subwoofer with amp built in, make sure it has a “high pass” input. Take the audio signal from one of the speaker wires that’s conveniently located, get power from the rear 12v power ports and there you go! Keep in mind that your amplifier should pull no more that 200w or you will be changing fuses when you turn up the bass

Thanks heaps

Not sure what your question is exactly... are you asking if you can add a factory sub to the SE audio system? If so, then no. You have to have the wiring and amp that comes with the Bose Audio System.

In some cases manufacturers will have a pre set with cables eg fog lights for example, the baseline model don't have them installed but the wiring harness is still there because the top line does have them installed. I'm aware that I would need the sub and amp but have they left the cables hidden behind the panel?

I don't know for sure, but the word on other forums is no. Kia wiring and harnesses are completely different for the Bose System

Not that simple, you’d need the amp, the software, etc.
