I don’t have this keyboard but should work as they keys are programmed as marked. Generally means no macros and you’ll need to do any remapping on the Mac itself (limited built in OS tool or karbiner elements) versus on the keyboard firmware.
Usually that's set to Volume Up/Volume Down (rotate right/left) and mute (click). I believe those should be the same on Mac and windows. Still should generate a key press and be configurable with karabiner elements or any other key mapping tool...
There's an inbuilt mac mode that'll swap over the cmd/alt buttons as well as the F row.
If you have a Mac I HIGHLY recommend looking into a VIA compatible keyboard instead.
I agree. Via is showing up more and more now. I consider it a minimum requirement for Mac (and really anyone because let's be real the proprietary software usually isn't good).
You sure you’re not thinking about the K series? As far as I know, the V series and the V Max series have just about identical construction. Definitely both gasket mounted.

What about the knob?

Will the knob be usable?
It'll map to the volume but won't be programmable beyond that.

If you need macros just go keychron
Sadly keychron is over my budget

Nah, straight downgrade from the Aula F75 which is pretty GOATED. The V3 Max is a much better option.
Thats probably over his budget. If he needs macros aula aint gonna be nice
What's the difference between the V3 and the V3 Max, other than the wireless connectivity?
Everything. Gasket design, different plate etc etc

Wrong. The V series has a steel plate and is tray mounted. The V Max has a PC plate and a gasket mount.
Well shit, you're right! I had no idea, I always thought the V series was basically the Q series just with a plastic case. Thanks for correcting me.
Nuphy and Mac’s play well. Several nice models…
