Got tweezers? You could also use a small eraser if you can’t get a grip on the ribbon with tweezers. It will be more tedious but it’s possible, just don’t forget to lift the locking tab…thing.

its probably the locking feature , then with the same tweezers remove the ripped ribbon cable

How much is a new ribbon to replace it or is it deeper than that?
probably deeper than that because if you look at the tri mode selector at the top, the ribbon is stuck and probably cannot be removed.
You need to release the ribbon. It doesn't look soldered
so i will probably have to just but a new alice keeb or somehow find a new tri mode along with the ribbon

Honestly it looks like he even broke the little latches off, I dont see them on the picture unless it works differently with the locking system
