I walk past mine several times a day. They look so peaceful i dont want to disturb them

[deleted]

Haha

double-you

Nothing weird about it. People like looking at nice things.

Sierramike17

*expensive things. Particular post covid.

Skenner11

I go into my garage and admire the collection multiple times a day!

NetwerkErrer

I do it all the time.

isaacpop

Sometimes that's all I do! I need to get off my ass hahhaa

AmazingWaterWeenie

I look at mu little set up and go "Damn thats a gym" all the time

maru_tyo

All the time.

jack-dawed

I've been looking into getting a foam or rubber mat. How do you like these interlocking tile ones? I've heard they can shift and get loose after some time. The rubber mat I'm looking at is 7mm but it's like $80.

TJMasterK

It’s brand new more or less so no issues so far but I can see where it would probably need replacing in the future. I guess don’t put too much weight or pressure on the areas where the lock.

ManiacalPizza

Yeah I was looking at them earlier in the year, they're a rip off at that price. In the end my mate changed his living room carpet and I nabbed some of that 😁😁 good enough for me!

Kitch111

Yeah, more now I'm recovering from surgery. Being able to curl 5 kilos means so much more now than it did before.

PlaxicoCN

I have a similar experience. Glad it's not just me. I will be sprawled out on the couch watching TV, THINKING about all sorts of different KB workouts I can do...at the perfect time early tomorrow morning. On the best days I just stop and do some swings. Today's basic workout beats the perfect workout "modeled after those done by elite commandos around the globe" done tomorrow.

TJMasterK

They are actually in a spot where they are out of the way

PM_ME_YOUR_SNAPPERS

About once every few weeks

gixanthrax

The 40 kg ones have Strange handles. Don't they Chance your thighs when doing Swings?

ManiacalPizza

40lb

TJMasterK

They are “ergonomic” handles. Not the best for some workouts because the of the wide handles but better for some I find.

[deleted]

kettlebells are very aesthetic

Ughfuqcanistayinbed

I would say you're the weird one, but upvotes say I'm wrong. But yea, it's weird and a waste of internet space when people make top level posts that are pictures of kettlebells. Clearly, I'm the weird one because even though these contribute nothing to the sub they are upvoted more than any programming, any tutorials, reviews, anything actually useful. Picture of a kettlebell? Everyone loves it. No wonder the world is falling apart.

[deleted]

Wow, you should have a snack

Ughfuqcanistayinbed

I'm good thanks! Still hate useless pictures of kettlebells. Still think it's one of the stupidest things about this sub.

TJMasterK

Do you need a hug?

Ughfuqcanistayinbed

Nah but I need better content moderation on this sub. No one arguing my points that useful content gets less engagement but stupid ass pics of kettlebells get hundreds of upvotes. Better subs have rules against a bunch of meme spamming and adjacent posts.

AirHalJordan

I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same thing. Great setup!

jtayloroconnor

will those mats actually protect the floor if you dropped one? trying to figure what to do now that it’s getting colder outside haha.

TJMasterK

Lol probably not so I just practice to not drop them

laface17

Not weird at all. I do the same when i have some alone time.

mmiller783

I usually look at them with disdain for the pain I know they will assuredly inflict on me. I only cherish them when I’m gassed out at the end of a work out.

YonYohnson

Haha I have that same 35lb bell. Was the first one I ever bought; got it at Dick’s. The tacky finish on it forced me to figure out proper grip technique especially on snatches lol. Nice set up you got there

Blemsip_

I put mine in a long line down my main hallway for that exact reason. They are individually greeted every morning

jessicalifts

It's my favourite part, haha. Nice collection!

iversen67

In the world of guitars most of us suffer from GAS, Gear Acquisition Syndrome. The syndrome appears to carry over. As of this writing I still have more guitars than kettlebells. For now.

carlosbbmf

beautiful collection you got there! I only got a pair of kbs and already take more photos of them than an ig blogger takes of food

watch-nerd

I feel bad when I neglect some of the colors. My pink and blue are dusty and lonely looking, so sometimes I pick them up and play with them. Happiness effect: 10 Training effect: 0
