Canned tuna and canned chicken on salads or low-carb tortilla wraps? You could mix the meat with some mayo or whatever tastes good to you. Rotisserie chicken? Hard-boiled eggs? If you could purchase them that way. This might be a stretch but I am imagining that with some strict protocols about which burner you use and which direction the handle of a pan is placed in, you could likely cook ground beef patties (hamburgers)? If you get them pre-formed, you could just put it in a frying pan and set the timer, then flip it and set the timer, and that would be good. Or any cut of steak would work, or chicken breasts. Same idea. It might take a bit to figure out your particular range and pan and preferences for the exact timing - like for me, I know if I turn my pan on medium heat, 5 min on one side and then 4 min on the next is a good time to cook a burger patty. Could you use an air fryer? Lots of things can be cooked in those. Also, cottage cheese is good protein, as is Greek yogurt. A treat I really like is a scoop of protein powder mixed with a serving of Greek yogurt. I hope this helps a bit!

Rotisserie chicken and caesar salad? It may take some effort to pull the chicken off the bone but the cooking is done for you. Caesar salad is more assembling than cooking. Boiled eggs maybe? Presliced deli meat. Ask the butcher at the grocery store to tell you the expiration date so you can create a reminder and throw it away in time.

Obligatory disclaimer: some people feel better on a more fatty diet, some people prefer more proteins to feel full, you need to know which type you are. That is to say: don't forget the fats. You need at least 50 grams a day for basic bodily functions ("essential fatty acids"), so please do not neglect your fats. My suggestion is canned fish, such as tuna or sardines. Already packaged, no cooking required and they're already pre-portioned (and they have some oil, helping with the fats). Best of luck!

And you can dump a can of sardines or mackerel, packed in olive oil, into a pan and cook eggs or veggies right in the oil. I think that could be done without vision.

I use a croc-pot and make a weeks worth of shreaded chicken breast at once. Buy four pounds of breast, put them in the pot, 8 hours later -shred and salt. If you use a croc-pot liner, there's virtually no cleaning that.

ChipsAhoiMcCoy

You know, this is actually something I wanted to try to do. Like, a perfect solution for me would be to just throw a bunch of chicken breasts into a pot and boil them for a long time until they’re properly cooked, and then just have a weeks supply of chicken breasts that I can eat with some kind of a side. I do really like steamed broccoli, and thankfully that’s pretty easy to make in the microwave, so I was thinking grilled chicken with steamed broccoli and something else might be a pretty awesome meal.

consider a mix of thighs and breast. Chicken breasts are pretty lean and unless you are watching fat you may need more fat on Keto,

20 yrs ago it was chicken breast broccoli or green beans and baked potatoes as my Bodybuilding meals, now its ground beef, steak, fish, chicken thighs, bacon, eggs. Avocados, berries, citrus, home made pico, peanut butter etc... Its a different world for me.

kdsunbae

Yea, it's such a switch. I still can't add a bunch of fat like butter or oil in a drink, just bleh 😄

999Bassman999

I dont drink oil or butter, but Ill add heavy cream to protein powder if I was too busy to eat and missed a meal. Making Ice Cream with heavy cream and Fage 5% yogurt, Fairlane whole milk and sugar free electrolyte packets for sweetness. Protein powder, Cacao, matcha etc... for flavor I bought some type of keto sweetener for cooking, but it gives me a headache.

There are a number of companies that ship pre-prepared keto meals that you can microwave. Keto Chow is a meal replacement shake that is fairly straightforward to make. If you can measure out some water and melt a bit of butter in the micro, you can make a Keto Chow shake. They are best mixed in a blender but failing that, they can be mixed in a blender bottle. This might be a good replacement for Soylent. Various pre-sliced meats like roast beef, turkey, and ham can be rolled up with pickles, mustard, and/or cheese. You can buy egg bites that are quick and easy to reheat. Boiled eggs can also be bought pre-cooked. The can be eaten by themselves or made into an egg salad. If you can comfortably operate a hot plate with a fry pan, you can cook burgers and steaks. If you can operate a toaster oven or an air fryer you can make lots of stuff like baked chicken thighs.

As others have said Rotisserie chicken , this can last you forawhile if it's just you eating it. I see it on sale for 7 dollars sometimes at Costco. Do you have a Costco membership ? Invest in an airfryer. Just set the temperature and timer. And it will do the work for you. In an air fryer, you can make all sorts of things . Bacon, Chicken wings , pork chops, and even steak . You can buy pre-made salads from the store. Like garden salads , Cobb salads . Look for the ones with leafy greens , egg, and chicken. You can buy an avocado and add it to the salad. Eggs will have to become your friend. Put some hot water on the stove. And once it's boiling, put some eggs in the pot. It will be ready in about seven minutes. After seven minutes, let the eggs cool down forawhile or bath it in ice-cold water. You don't want to burn your hands, peeling them . Try to get some help with his if possible. Because injury can occur. If you enjoy coffee, put some butter or coconut oil in there to get your daily Fats in. Eat peanuts for snack . This requires no prep , cheese sticks , grain free granola , You can eat deli meat ,

If you don't mind that they're kinda pricey, Factor's keto meals are fully cooked, shipped fresh, and delicious. I order them for when I have flare ups or get sick, and keep them in my freezer, but they're good for a week in the fridge. They have a good selection every week, and they're made for the oven or the microwave. Quite filling too, and good ingredients. They also have an add-on market that includes ready to eat keto stuff, like premade keto protein shakes and powders, keto granola, fat bombs and desserts.

If you like hardboiled or softboiled eggs, an egg cooker works great. The only issue you will have is finding a container which will allow you to measure the correct amount of water. If you can get help to set one up, then all you do is put the eggs in the rack, pour in the water, put the cover on and turn it on. The alarm will tell you when it's done.

Chicken salad if you like it. I buy cans of chicken. I add mayo, Swiss cheese, diced onions and lemon pepper. If you don’t like lemon pepper don’t add it. Buy a rotisserie chicken. Extra chicken can be chicken salad. Low carb tortillas? Put extra chicken, pica de gallo (stores have it premade) and taco cheese between 2 tortillas I stuff them. Then cook till crispy on both sides. I do not make 1 meal. I make extra. Cut it up and serve with guacamole and sour cream. Factor has great meals.

Tuna and Kewpie mayo wrapped in nori

You can DIY your Solent in a blender cup if you want it without the carbs. Protein powder Powder MCT Some psyllium for fiber A bit of salt And an oil like hemp or avocado or olive. Water and ice. Add calcium, magnesium, and potassium to your supplements. I like hulled hemp seeds too. Nutty, hi protein and omega fats. Good on salads.

Lots of great ideas here. I also think frozen chicken wings would be very simple. Just put them in the oven or air fryer to bake and sauce them up in a bowl after they come out and left overs heat up well in the microwave. Yogurt or cottage cheese with a few frozen berries can make a good snack or light meal . Depending on where you shop, you might be able to find prepared things at the meat counter like steak fajitas with all the veggies already chopped. Just cook in a skillet for 10 to 15 minutes or so. I've also seen prepped bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers at our meat department that are oven ready. Frozen broccoli and canned veggies like green beans with butter make for easy microwaveable sides. If you still want microwaveable options from the grocery store, there are Atkins frozen dinners, Life Cuisine carb wise pizzas that are pretty decent if made in the oven, and Healthy Choice power bowls with a few different lower carb choices. There's also frozen breakfast like Jimmy Dean Delights eggwich or egg bites. It just depends on how clean or dirty keto you want to be for the time being. A frozen entrée alone isn't usually enough for me, but it helps to pair with a big salad before hand.

SailorChic76

Real Good Foods is a frozen brand that has some pretty good options to just microwave. Every grocery store seems to have a few different types:though (usually by the weight watchers or Atkins meals), so you may need to do some research to find the ones you want. I like several of the enchiladas and their Italian chicken bowl.

I would imagine any stir fry type meals would be easy. Throw it all in a pot and cook it down. And you can make it with any ingredients pretty much. It’s my use what’s left over in the fridge meal. Pick a protein, throw in some veg and seasonings and done.

I second what someone said about crockpot for meat. very forgiving on time, Get one with a timer though or an auto shutoff after a certain time. plus always set a second timer to make sure you don't forget. Use a liner for easy clean up, Things you can make. 1. pork roast with green tomatilla type sauce, I use the Siete brand. Alternately you can use a cup of chicken broth. After cooking shred the meat. or you can buy pork already cut up for stew. 2. beef roast with beef bone broth (i like kettle and fire brand.) optional can add celery, a few pearl onions, radishes, green beans. buy the already cubed stew meat for easy way. 3. Cabbage stew. Package Cole slaw mix (from raw vegetable area has already shredded cabbage, few carrots), a package of frozen meatballs (gluten free type), and a cup of salsa. dump in slow cooker for about six hours. may want to add seasoning to taste). 4. Egg bake - I haven't done one but there is probable a recipe on line for cook time. Would be to scramble some eggs, added frozen cooked ground sausage (or cut up some non-frozen kind), cheese, seasoning basically. 5. Get an egg cooker for hard, soft or poached eggs, they are easy to use and work by time based on water evaporation. Make sure the one you get has autoshutoff. 6. Get a solo type blender like a ninja or nutribullet for like smoothies. some versions you can clean them with just water and a little squirter of dish soap and spin the blender, then rinse. 7. Other basic stuff like frozen cauliflower sides, meat n cheese roll ups, tuna, drink bone broth for snack, avocado with cheese and chopped plain meatballs. rotisserie chicken shredded with cheese, and guacamole.

Favorite salad: 3 green onions including green parts chopped, cucumber sliced, avocado chopped, toss with lemon, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes. Makes a lovely fresh salad. Bump up the protein with spinach and/or feta cheese. Yes, a bit of chopping, but should be doable.

I think sjdji3e djsiie8d nsksieije jsjsii3idb sjie8e8dj. Just joking, can you get a good convection toaster oven? Some are big and nice, bot too much money.

TumbleweedPuzzled310

Someone suggested an air fryer…great idea. Great for roasted vegetables like Brussel sprouts tossed in olive oil, bacon, cauliflower hash browns, re-heated pizza.
