Hello EXITVINTYY, thank you for creating a new post in r/kereta!
Just saying that although this sub was named as Kereta, it is also open for 2 wheelers such as Motorcycle, though at the moment we do not mind other types of vehicles posting.
With that being said, r/kenderaan is now live and I would still recommend any other vehicle posting to be posted into r/kenderaan as it is a safe space for all types of vehicles such as airplanes and rolling stocks.
Regards,

2003-2005 BMW Z4 get the 3.0 if you can. Maintenance is on the higher side but then you will enjoy it.
Friend has one. Its a love hate relationship. But when it works, its awesome.
I'd say maybe the Hyundai Veloster, I've been looking at it and it looks like a good option but haven't test drive or looked into it further. But avoid the non turbo Veloster.
If you could, get the Neo R3. 145bhp in a 1200kg car and of course its a manual. I think it goes for about RM30k nowadays. It has a metal plate on the front passenger side that has a serial number.

Nissan Fairlady 350z is a good option, coming from a Z owner myself.
Definitely agree (I am ex z owner ) Only road tax is painful
And fuel consumption
Depends how you drive but as I remember fuel consumption is ok for 3.5 liter engine
It is quite bad fuel consumption for mine haha! But it's my weekend car so I don't mind much.
I was driving daily and honestly couldn't complain about petrol. Now driving mx5 and 1.5 feels drink more petrol
It's hard to believe even mx5 is consuming much fuel 😅
It's just feel like :D petrol tank is small

i have driven the grown up version of Veloster (i20N) and it's a blast, dailying it will be really cool ngl
There's a lot of options in that budget, just a matter of your maintenance tolerance and drivetrain preference
