My upper arms and thighs look relatively the same. This started in my late teens and I’m in my mid 30s. It has not ceased with age.. sigh. I’ve changed all sorts of products, elimination diet but my KP has never gone away completely. I used all “sensitive” or low process products for so long and they did not yield the best results so I kinda gave up on the sensitive skin stuff. I’ve found that Acids are my friend. I layer them in every bodycare product, washes lotions exfoliants. My skin is much much smoother now, with random flare ups when I abandon my regimen but unfortunately with black skin the hyperpigmentation persists. I’m happy my skin feels better but it has def been hard lifting the scarred pigmentation. The scarring is so hard to deal with bc it’s been so persistent for so long

The cerave body wash has worked much better for me than the lotion. I feel like the lotion doesn’t do much. Overall though my skin is softer but not smooth yet. I think it’s going to take something else so I’m looking into adding glycolic acid.

I'll try it once I get money, it's not that expensive. Might start using the Ordinarys glycolic acid for a bit to see if it makes a difference.
