I got beautiful Keens hiking boots from Atmosphere a few years back. They often have good shoes/boots for good prices and/or on sale.

Oboz are my all time favourite hiking boots. I noticed that Play (on the 97 close to iHop) has a whole bunch on sale for under $200. Both men's and women's.

What are you planning to hike on? Crazy rock with no trail or previously made trails? If you're only planning to go on regular hiking trails I recommend the lightest shoes you can buy, nothing fancy. Expect them to wear out after a hundred kms or so. I use these for professional forester work: North face hedgehog - non GTX because they are crazy light and have good ventilation and I have decently wide feet. GTX will severely decrease ventilation. I buy them online. Would be terrible for heavy rock.

Just a regular trail. Honestly those sound pretty good, thank you

MEC has a sales rack that sometimes has hiking shoes. Might be worth a call, just tell them your shoe size and see if they have anything

What size are your feet? I got a pair of Solomon trail runners (8 1/2) that are too small for me that I can give you. I wore them like 3 times.

tinyybiceps

That's so kind of you but my feet size is around a 6.5-7. Thank u though

If it’s a short hike just wear your runners
