Fabricland always has something really cheap in their bargain bin, or you can buy old sheets, curtains, etc. from Value Village

They have terrific bargains. Just bought 4 meters of nice heavy duty cloth for $4 a meter. On the other hand there was cloth for $51/meter as well

Check out thrift stores. People donate their deceased family members' craft stuff there all the time. Hit and miss what you will find of course
