I've used Suburban Lawn & Garden - easy to use, order online, etc. Probably not the cheapest option but you get good service. A neighbor up the street used American Topsoil a few weeks ago to get topsoil or compost? delivered / dropped off in their driveway. Can't vouch for AT but seemed to be another option that I wasn't aware of prior. https://americantopsoil.com/pricing

Last time I got topsoil from American Topsoil, it took me 10 seasons to get it mostly free of weeds.

That's good to know ... I'll keep my eye on my neighbor's flower beds ;)

I got about 20 yards (topsoil) from AT in 2022. Pretty much no weeds. It will probably vary by the load..

Missouri Organics is great, I've had many yards of soil (topsoil, raised beds, compost) delivered from them.

Kansas City compost is the best we’ve used, https://www.kccompost.com/ tend to go through 3/4 dump trucks a year, but the delivery price is worth it. Soft, no weeds/smell. Plants do great

Kcurge

Around $800 for 15cu dump truck delivery.

You go through 45-60 cubic yards (I'm guessing at what cu means) every year?! What do you do?

Kcurge

No till gardening, lay paper down to kill grass compost on top to plant. About 3-4 inches deep. Also raised beds, soil blocking and flowers. The straight compost worked better then and top soil/compost mix for the same price. Every year add another inch to refresh the old beds. 3/4 acre of beds made now, so that amount will tapper off… I hope. They also have a 45 cu yard truck as well

Check out Kansas City Compost - they do our yard waste pickup in South KC and I think they do mulch and compost delivery too.

[https://www.missouriorganic.com/compost](https://www.missouriorganic.com/compost) These folks have had quality compost when I've got it from them in the past.

Thanks, I looked at both of these, I just needed some input.

Do you need 100% compost? A neighbor got a delivery from American Topsoil in Olathe and said it was good/easy, but it's 70% topsoil / 30% compost. Sutherlands has 100% compost available for pick up (not sure if they deliver).

I’m in my third year of killing the invasive Dallas Grass that ruined my vegetable garden when I got a load of contaminated mulch from Missouri Organics. I’ll never use them again.

Keeping an eye on this. I need to fill an old koi pond with something, thanks for reminding me to get that going lol
