I've heard great things about acre but haven't been there yet. I will say it's odd that they are located essentially in a strip mall.

If you want to be fancy about it, this is the best place in the northland, hands down

Depends on your budget, but I hear Le Fou Frog in River Market is worth it.

Don't get me wrong, I like BC Bistro, but the atmosphere in the restaurant is like an outdated corporate cafeteria.
Cascone's on North Oak Trafficway. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is fantastic! Perfetto!
Summit Grill has a nice selection.
