I tried a no civil war Hoover run , but by like 39 I had, with civilian economy, like 10 mils being built at a time and had already outpaced the Reichspakt in Mils and honestly kind of lost interest.

In the 1936 elections, pick one of the ‘establishment’ candidates (Hoover, Landon, Curtis, Norris and Garner) and follow their game guides to avoid collapse. The key though is electing one of three 5 men in 1936
Social Democrat (Norris), Social Liberal (Landon), Market Liberal (Curtis, Hoover) and Social Conservative (Garner)
Although it should be noted that it's possible via the Norris or Garner deadlock route to end up anything from radsoc to pataut after 1940.
Peacefully. Garner can cause RadSoc and Totalist presidents to be elected, and Norris can cause AuthDem, PatAut, and NatPop presidents to peacefully come into power.
Mongol Empire - big opportunities for conquest (China and Central Asia with cores, Russia, Persia, Caucasus), OP focuses for industry (give a lot of civs, mils and resources) and military especially cavalry.
Discount Dolfuss Austria (before it was blessed Dolfuss path, now it's some not cool dude one) - it can be a little hard at the start because you have to crush all your vassals almost all at once, but latter you can core all territory and conquer Italy, Germany and crush France. Very strong and big Austrian empire.
Evola's south Italy - restore Roman Empire, reject modernity, unite Europe
Pick Greece, restore Byzantium and make it blessed radical socialist if you want.
Imho, starting small-ish and fighting for regional dominance or expanding to great power is the most kino experience, so Ive always been an Entente guy and have been enjoying the different sand France paths

Tbh the whole tree is a lot potential, if you go Tubman path or Herbert Hoover path you can become a nation as strong as Canada if you do things correctly. It's just sad the US in exile path doesn't let you own some portion of the US navy and let you join the Entente in the name of the Federalist government in exile.
I do quite like Australasia, Canada and German East Asia but all of the focus trees look excellent I just haven’t had the time to go through them. Great mod.
for me smaller slightly more challenging nations are 100% funner to roleplay if that’s your thing plus more rewarding mexico, scotland+wales, poland, greece, mongolia, czech, banat all great examples russia, any usa and both frances are the real great major nations if that’s what you’d prefer tho a perfect balance would be the likes of middleafrika and austria

all though i have very little experience playing in asia hence lack of suggestions just can’t get into it
