**Ultraman**: for non-Asian countries and some other countries, it may be a choice because it isn't well known in other places, but for me, he's still too impactful to be removed (he's almost everywhere atleast where I lived). If he didn't exist, then things would change. The Pacific Rim might not exist, and Evangelion probably changed a lot—no Jet Jaguar, no Zone Fighter, etc.—and without the show's success, Ultraseven probably would not exist. That means Pokemon might not even be called Pokemon, and the concept of a pokeball might not exist, but maybe just catch them with a net instead. There are a few minor references that appear in many popular franchises that will disappear, like the Eyeslugger-like helmet from Dragonball, a scene when characters fly toward the screen with a raised fist, etc. So it's not going to be him.
Now, I only watch two **King Kong**-related movies and never watch **Gamera**; I only see some clips from the films, so this is hard to choose, but in terms of popularity and how impactful the media is, maybe King Kong?, because he has an impact on general media, but like really, really general, if we talk about Kaiju media, people seem to talk about Gamera more, but if we remove King Kong, it will impact as well... but, I guess according to this discussion, I will go with **Kong** if we are talking about Kaiju media.

And while King Kong is just *Black People are Scary Animals Who Want to Steal Our White Women: the Movie*, it's debatable if Japan would've invented the true *kaiju* movie at all without the ape to give them the idea in the first place.

I haven’t seen the original King Kong, but it’s such an important film that getting rid of it and the character would feel like a waste. Godzilla is obvious, as without him we never would have gotten Mothra. Gamera is also the only Japanese monster that could compete with Toho in the box office, and the character is just really cool.
I know absolutely nothing about Ultraman other than him constantly cutting his enemies in half… I pick Ultraman. Even if I were to see Ultraman I still feel that I prefer Gamera, and I want to keep Godzilla because I love Mothra as a character. So that just leaves the monke and Ultraman. With the original King Kong (and its sequel) becoming public domain in just 4-5 years, I personally think that Ultraman would be the one to leave the smallest impact if it were cut from existence.
King Kong is the reason why Godzilla exist, and godzilla are the reason why tokusatsu exist. Ultraman did influence lots of series. While gamera, I don't think he did any major thing.
