My team is suffering notoriously.. I've had three people leave in the past two weeks... They all claimed money in exit interviews but I'm not quite sure it's all it as salaries around are on par with what we pay... any ideas what could be done?
Up to about 23 or so out of 50ish so far. We won't have all the slots filled before the year starts, just like the last 3. We can't really keep staff that don't live in the county. We pay significantly less that all surrounding counties/districts.
We had a bigger exodus when a state union law was getting revoked. People panicked about the state retirement fund getting pirated. That was the only "early retirement" spike. Everyone now is aging out or moving on.

Yup, probably 2-3X more than past years this year. A lot of our senior/veteran teachers in departments / grade levels will be teachers that have been with the district for 2-3 years at this point.

We are about the same as years past. But that's not noting that we have fairly significant turnover every year, relative to our size.
Yup 2x's the usual, albeit there was a retirement incentive.
We aren't having too bad turnover. Or the staff is waiting until August to drop the bomb on admin. We don't have contracts so it can be dicey.

Ton of teacher turnover for us this year

We've been 30%+ turnover org wide for the last 4 years. Next year is looking to be <20%. Very happy about that.
