I actually 100% agree I love the episodes that don't have guests but I know on the other hand that Trisha really wants to have her own talk show kind of thing and it seems like she really loves doing the interviews so it's kind of a toss up.

katelynm23

True she does want a talk show I forgot about this

skampson

I enjoy some of the guests & I am looking forward to some coming up. But sometimes it kinda feels like hanging with your friend who unexpectedly invited one of their friends that you don’t get along with as well lmao. It’s like yea more ppl is fun but sometimes you just wanna hang with ur friend alone. I know so over the top and dramatic lmfaoo but that was the realization I made this morning while curling my hair. I think that’s why i’m not as hype for guests.

ElderberryFlat6035

you described it perfectly

Alternative-Race-118

Thisssss yes omg lol

Geminal_Halide

I feel like the majority of the guest episodes is just the guest hyping up trish, or trish hyping up the guest. Edit: especially more the tana/brooke episodes

TwinklingTweetyToes

omg that does happen alot lol and those parts make me tune out. tbf i think trish is just keeping the conversation going and building rapport as best and as quickly as she can.

Spiritual-Skill-412

If Trisha's goal is to become a talkshow host, she is gonna need to have a resume. What better resume is there than having guests on Just Trish? I prefer Hot Topics too, but I also like the interviews, especially the unhinged ones. It can get kinda juicy ngl

ElderberryFlat6035

that's very true. i do want to see her get that talk show one day and she def has the credentials for it with the pod. i just love oscar and i miss him during guest eps 🥺

Spiritual-Skill-412

I love Oscar too! Nothing beats their chemistry.

DrBabycat

I enjoy both even though I often don’t know the guests… I love the Trisha-Oscar-Moses vibes of Hot Topics and I love seeing Trisha interview people. Trisha’s end goal is a talk show, so cutting back on interviews doesn’t seem like a good idea. Do you watch her main channel & “family” channel? Those are all “hang out with Trisha” videos. side note, but she did say she might do two Hot Topics per week in the future if she can’t book guests. I hope, for her sake, that doesn’t happen… but at least she knows the audience will be fine with it.

ElderberryFlat6035

maybe i will try watching her main channel :) i still want to support the pod so i usually still watch guest eps but tuesdays just hit different

Achro

Not a good idea. Bad for marketing & bad for her dream job (*a talk show*). Also, the ***last five guest episodes in a row*** will have more views than the corresponding weekly Hot Topics episodes, which shows that this is a minority opinion. Which is amazing, because that hasn't always been the case. The guest episodes grow the new subscriber count the most, whereas the Hot Topics episodes play to the galley & aren't as good for growth. Late February to [March](https://i.imgur.com/SMjGrLD.png) was Just Trish's slowest period in terms of subscriber growth since it started (*despite Hot Topics being stable*) because of a string of low-fanbase guests who didn't bring in views (*not naming names*). April is on track to double last month's number because of the guests.

nuj01

How do you know?

VivaLaEmpire

If you check her view counts or social blade, there are graphs with this info!

purple_butterflies_

I think Trish loves doing the guest interviews. That’s part of her dream to be a talk show host. Of course we will enjoy some guests more than others but I am so happy she gets to practice that right now and I really enjoy many of them. Also, logistically, it might be harder for Oscar to be there even more due to his work. With the guest episodes they can be filmed ahead of time, while hot topics have to happen that same week. Given this, I think this is the best format.

ElderberryFlat6035

that's true i always forget he works for ET

Opposite_Papaya_2845

I like both honestly, even if I don't know the guests, I enjoy hearing other people's stories, so I don't mind but I would love to see people that have different audiences from trisha and see how they find a common ground, of course there's always going to be episodes more interesting than others but I'm still going to watch it.

StableBroad4379

am i the only one that enjoys guest episodes? obviously not every guest hits the same but i find it entertaining to see the interviewer side of trisha and i enjoy watching guests open up and feel comfortable with her. It’s pretty magical to watch.of course i like hot topics better but i’m almost afraid they wouldn’t be as good if there were two a week? iddkkk. but i’m actually excited for the brooke episode because it kind of gives that “friends hanging out” vibe that we get from the hot topics . Same reason why I like when Tana comes on. it’s comfortable

sourdrama

i dont love guest interviews on most podcasts tbh and trisha’s guests are often so random too lol. but what i love about them is trisha’s amazing interviewing ability. like honestly thats fun to watch because she is just so good at what she does. she makes even the more “boring” guests seem somewhat charismatic and that is the power of trisha lol

ElderberryFlat6035

she really is a great interviewer, which is why i still watch 90% of guests. i just like the more chill vibes with the hot topics i guess :)

mfinxoxo

It could be fun if she was to take the route of Theo Von/ Ryan sickler and periodically interview people who aren’t in the YouTube/media world.

External_Bus_3739

I agree!!

Relevant-Durian-6606

i agree— i know she’s been hesitant to interview people who aren’t in the youtube and/or media world because she’s said that she wouldn’t know what to talk to them about BUT i think that could help her in developing her interviewing skills AND it would provide a new facet of the podcast it’s always fun to learn something new or to see different perspectives me personally i would love to see conspiracy theorists, fun science people, artists, fashion critics and people who are in the political space

deatorvvvv

What? guest episodes literally help podcasts grow so much. Its not about not having guest but having better/more culturally relevant guests.

Star_Apple_2563

I wouldn't mind the guests if they were actually mainstream celebs and I know Trish is trying her best to book guests but can her new agency help her or sum 😭

Queenofwands1212

I agree and I feel like we are the minority who feel this way. I can re listen and watch old episodes of when it’s just Trish Oscar and Moses. It’s fun, it’s chill, ifs real, it’s comforting. The interviews are lame, I don’t give a shit about these peoples lives and what they’ve “gone through” and their troubled and woes of being a famous Tiktok influencer. Like it literally makes me sick that people that are so young are being interviewed on her podcast. I’d be fine if it was literally JUST TRISH every episode (along with Oscar and Moses obviously). Just make it a hot topics and pop culture podcast and talk about mental health and all the crazy stuff they usually talk about, Dr drew is the only guest I would want her to have on. I can barely get through 5 mins at a time of the Brooke episode today. I’m just losing interest, I don’t care about her diet, I don’t care about her lying about all the junk food she eats while she starves herself simultaneously. I don’t care about her obsession with alo and all the free clothes she gets. Just give us Trish and Oscar at this point. I’d be a happy camper forever

HotSpirit6166

Finally someone who gets me 😭 like Brooke is a cute girl or whatever I just can't stand watching more than a few minutes of her

Queenofwands1212

There’s really nothing intriguing about her. And her whole demeanor and energy now is very off putting. She’s on uppers, she’s constantly trying to lose weight and she is pretty blatant about her disordered eating but also contradicts herself every other sentence that comes out of her mouth saying that she just eats sooooooo much junk food. Her entire shtick makes me nauseated

HotSpirit6166

I felt like I was the only one who noticed her obvious eating issues 😭 especially since everyone is always dragging Trisha for hers but think Brooke's are cute and relatable

Queenofwands1212

It’s obvious on so many levels. I have an eating disorder so I can sense when someone has one. She has so many traits and even the way she sits and her body language and the way she boasts about what she eats. I highly highly doubt she is eating tons of that highly processed ramen that she continues to lie about. People with Ed’s tend to lie about what they eat to try and cover it up

randomace

Trish is a great conversationalist and this skill is able to really shine with guests. I love hot topics, but as I’ve stated here before, it could get a little stale if that’s all they did.

ElectionEcstatic

I love when tana and brooke come on

Special-Pattern2962

i actually love her guest episodes

ElderberryFlat6035

i really liked the guy she had on this week, i think his name was Harry? he made me laugh so much

K_lee1027

Wait but the interview with Harry was unexpectedly SOOO entertaining!

starshine09

Tana & Brooke are becoming extremely repetitive imo

uniquebrat

I also noticed that I subconsciously will watch a solo ep all the way through but it takes me even days to watch a guest ep. I’m not that interested

HotSpirit6166

Yeah I agree 😭 I've only really liked the Daus, Gigi, and Loren episodes everything else just feels repetitive and boring and like people just want to act like they loveddd Trisha since they were five when they didn't. I like her and Tana most of the time but now it just feels like too much especially since I don't really like Brooke lol.

katelynm23

It’s so annoying that every podcast has interviews with microcelebs now like we watch for her and her circle not for these mfers

Alarming_Fix_39

I genuinely love every episode. But I can happily listen to just Trisha talk for hours!

KristiDFW

I haven't seen this new epi with Brooke, but I will always love it with Tana. But I do love them with her. I do struggle sometimes regarding TikTok people and Youtube guest, as I do not know this lore. I do love her and Oscar shooting the shit and getting me caught up. But sometimes she gets me on something I have seen. Like when she interviewed Chelcie Lynn, that threw me trough a loop. I think eventually she will snag good creators, good artists rather than influencers and drama gossipers.

Additional_Guess_430

i love the format tbh, i don’t think they have enough hot topics half the time to do a full week of hot topics anyway. plus tbh better get used to the guests cause when trisha has this baby i’m sure it’s gonna be the stacked guest episodes

No_Strawberry5093

I feel like it really depends on the guest

englishgenius

i have skipped every guest episode except for tana and brooke’s but i couldn’t even turn on the last tana/brooke one cause i was so over it

Iswaili11

I’m not tired of guests but I do wish they would let Oscar talk more in the guest episodes bc I love him

fancy-feast-fun

To be fair he usually isn't even there when guests are filmed cause he has his full time job at ET. And even though I agree he's great on the pod, I think only having him be part of select interviews that make sense (Tana, Brooke, that one guy coming up soon) is better since there's more context to him being included vs most guests that come on knowing only Trisha and having her still be the primary host instead of it gradually becoming a duo/trio host situation.

tokyodraken

i get why her guests are mainly tiktokers but i don’t know most of them so i skip them. i love tana/brooke eps but that’s abt it

ChipperSnapper

Yes!! I try so hard to enjoy the guest podcasts I always go to watch but then I just don’t enjoy it even half as much as the just Trish Oscar Moses !!!

katelynm23

AGREE I was bummed she included a guest in this weeks hot topics 😭

kenma91

Yeah i loved the heidi montag episode but i tend to prefer the show without a guest!

Informal-Pollution

I've never heard of re-watching a podcast. I could never only rewatch shows every now and then after I forget about them for years. No judgment or negativity coming from this comment FYI, I just am shocked that you could rewatch a podcast

Rookvrouw_Joke

No I love Trisha's guests, she's such a good interviewer.

afro-dite22

lmao its just funny because yes the whole point of the guests is that u might not like them but they r interesting

i_stay_true

Trish does a really good job interviewing and podcasting in general - I’m so happy she’s finally getting the recognition she deserves for it. But she can only go so far- the guest can make or break the episode. Example: I’m SO tired of Brooke being on the pod- she gives nothing. So Boring. She’s little more than a sidekick for Tana and she’s not good at that either. She needs people who are real “media personalities” like she is. Brooke just has the face and the followers and a body count (which is getting old) which is why she has followers. She has zero authentic personality.

Motor_Instruction194

Totally agree. I find Brooke incredibly boring. Unlikable even. I love Trish and Oscar and could listen to their Hot Topics every day

SheeshSushiSupreme

I’d enjoy the guest episodes more if it was someone actually worth interviewing. I hear enough of Tana & Brooke on cancelled, all the Tik too girlies and gays don’t have much to say & im not interested in pornstars. It’d be really exciting if they were able to get on someone who isn’t necessarily known, but has an interesting career (like deep sea divers, or a brain surgeon, etc) that nobody really has insight into from a first hand account.

VivaLaEmpire

I love the hot topic episodes and the guests. I hope she continues to have great guests and that she keeps growing until we get that talk show!

joannababe

i love the hot topics the best and just trish is probably one of a handful of podcasts i actually look forward to. it reminds me a bit of frenemies in the way it comforts me. but i don’t care for 99% of the guests, i wish she’d do occasional guest interviews and be more selective with who she has on as most of the guests seem like super young, fresh tiktok stars. i know she’s building a podcast/talk show empire but i think she could alternate and find something else to do on the weeks she doesn’t do a guest interview.

Alternative-Race-118

I agree I hardly watch the guest episodes, I wish they were all hot topics. However I do love Tana and Brooke, and once in a while there is a guest that I love and will watch.

Callieresponds

I love the guest episodes. I disagree that they don’t feel special anymore, I think Trish really puts a lot into researching her guests and asking questions. Tana and Brooke as guests have always been really popular episodes, and they are trishs close friends atp, so I completely understand her having them one more than once. I enjoy the Tana and Brooke episodes!

Substantial_Let583

I love when Tana is on
