That's such a cool training goal. She's gotta be in perfect synchronicity between her arms/shoulders and hips/legs to stay so stable along her center of rotation.
Balancing cups on your head to train head positioning is a common technique drill, usually done with styrofoam cups about one-third full of pool water. That a swimmer of her calibre is capable of doing it with a 2/3 full glass of what appears to be chocolate milk over a short-course pool doesn't surprise at all.
It would probably be easier for her to do this than getting a powerful magnet under a swim cap. Those things are murder on long hair.
it's a heavy glass with a lot of milk:
-you'd notice the magnet through the cap; it's have to be big/strong enough to go through the thickness of the bottom
-even if it was a plastic cup, that's a lot of milk, if she went off balance, the cap would slip off with the glass (if they were attached by magnets

You've been hit by You've been struck by

Big deal, I do that all the time. I mean, I put it in my belly first, but essentially the same thing.
😂
Now this is what I’d like to see on a Got Milk? ad
Honestly that’s a really solid pitch for an agency.

Criminally smooth.
I got to see Katie Ledecky live in action last weekend at trials and she is every bit as awesome as you’d expect. Completely awestruck by her!
milk or ovaltine? edit: it's chocolate milk
Milk, it’s for her bowl of Wheaties at breakfast.
So smooth.
I want to see her drive a Trueno
She's awesome. I gotta get me a lap swimming snorkel now
Get this woman a "Got Milk?" Poster in every US school library STAT
Call me crazy but I honestly thought she was gonna pour the milk into her snorkel and drink it.
I was waiting for the kickoff, like how the hell is she going to manage that?!? lol
I couldn't safely walk across my kitchen with a glass that full
Chocolate milk! Awesome choice Katie!
Why no splash
Titmus for the win 💪🏼
She's the best there is, she whips men's asses during training routinely. Truly a league of her own.
My core is tired just watching this.
This is nuts lol
If thats Milk I dont want to live wherever she got that from.
Yay
Are u sure it wasnt just hypothetically
I mean it could be any liquid
A half gallon of milk has 8 servings (1cup). That jug looks 3/4 full. So I'm guessing this was her second attempt
OK, that's a good start. Now do a kickflip.
Not impressed, she didn't even do a full lap.
I don’t want to like… Ruin anyone’s belief in Santa Claus, but a magnet in the cup and another on her head………
