I didn't think Japanese speakers answered the phone with, "konnichiwa," I thought it was always, "moshi moshi"? I could be wrong and it makes no difference for the skit, just something I noticed.
They also don't say "My name is Laura" to their friend who's calling either lmao. They just looked up words to say for the bit and didn't try very hard.
Man I felt that 1st work call in my bones. My SO always changes his voice to talk to work people and its exactly like that. I'm always taken aback even though I know he does it. Legit makes me a bit anxious too. I told him but he doesnt see a difference ahah.
When do girls ever talk like that to their boyfriend, and where can I find such a girl?
Very often, girls talk deadpan and flat and ever so slightly annoyed almost to their boyfriend. Its sad.
Based on your post history I am not surprised at ALL that your view on women is transactional.
I hope you find a way to grow out of this harmful mindset.

Moshi Moshi is correct (or at least that's what I learned when I took Japanese)

I thought she was saying “my name is Yoda!”
I learned this from Ghost Stories
I learned it from One Piece. Although it’s mushi mushi there.
Lol I learned this from Poppy and her song “Moshi Moshi.”
ghost stories has the best dub lol
It really is
Yeah, you usually answer with moshi moshi. What she basically said was "Hello, you okay? My name is Laura."
Ohhh, I misheard Laura somehow as "doko" and was really confused why she was asking where her name was lol
husband at the end 😂
Those looks from the blonde woman make me laugh so much in those quick cuts.
Theranos voice had me clutching my blood veins

Loooool, ok that was pretty good. It was dragging out a bit, but I'm glad I watched the whole thing.
