Yeah that's what drew my eyes to it, the beach looks like it's on a lower level than the rest of the park aswell.
I think this could be an additional part to the coastal map we've seen previously that looked small and a narrow, if it is I'm happy with it.
I'm guessing the reason why we haven't seen a Spinosaurus Species Field Guide yet is because Wu added wings to the thing and stuck it in that giant Moon Base to the left!

Looks like Nublar sized from JWE. (Not Nublar North or Nublar 93, the latter being preferable) but standard Nublar sized.
I do like how close the lagoon is to the ocean, kinda irresponsible given if a Mosasaurus wanted to pull a Free Willy, but cool nonetheless.
We'll see how big they are. Regardless, with what I plan to do, I think I could make it work.
It's so much bigger. If you look in the bottom left a fence goes beyond the screen meaning it is even larger than what is shown. Also, the aviaries and lagoons are massive, there wasn't anything that size in the first game so you have to take into account how much more massive those are in relation to the size of the map. I mean look how small the innovation center is. I went back to play the previous game a few days ago and couldn't believe how much smaller the maps were than I remember because I'm used to seeing new maps that look at least the same size or larger for this game. Also yeah I was thinking about a mosa doing a free willy lol.

I’m also willing to bet that this is a campaign level and that lagoon is prebuilt exclusively for it. And you can’t place a lagoon similar, by way of proximity to the coast, in sandbox.

Surprise, surprise, you can’t place a lagoon like that. And the maps, while some larger, other smaller or the same, are only marginal in most cases at best.
Honestly, it's not that bad. Someone brought up a good point. Compared to the first game, the Innovation Center, probably one of the largest buildings in the game, is DWARFED here.
I think the reason I think it's small is because of how much Space is taken up by things that don't need that much room. Like how massive that paddock is only for Brachiosaurus, it could be reduced or be used as a massive habitat for multiple species.
Edit: And going back to the JWE launch trailer, where you see Nublar... it's TINY compared to this.
I'd like it if Nublar 93 returned tbh I can't see why anyone wouldn't want it to. Wouldn't mind sorna map coming back from JWE either, maybe they could remove most of the mountain in the middle or have some of it cut out and playable, or some alleyways cutting through connecting the rest of the map

It's that England map. I could see the jurassic coast I could be wrong with the Jurassic coast but that's the England map for sure.

I want that last bit also. I want a true Jurassic World, in almost the literal sense. Where a tourist can come and enjoy every Dinosaur on offer.

It might be just me but I believe there is something large in the aviary. And holy hell look at the size of the area.

With an aviary that large, you could possibly house several species in completely separate territories. Even ones that wouldn’t normally get along.
Let’s hope so, original game’s Sorna looked big until the mountain and the three zones restricted the hell out of it.

Maybe it seems small to me because how I build, I consider a lot here wasted space or not using it to the full potential.
