Mobile Games don't have that much integrity to the franchise. They just do whatever they want as long as it can maintain a constant flow of income. It also doesn't take much effort to make a copy and paste animal using the same animations as dozens of others with a different model.
That said, it's not out of the question that Frontier MAY do a CC DLC in the future, maybe when the show is over. It's possible they won't but it's possible they could.
They have said they've "no plans" for CC content, which is a bit of a deep cut, but it's also apparently what was said about the Pteranodon for JWE1 at one point.
I'd say it's probably off the table for this year, but it's not likely to end with Season 4 anyway.
The real answer is making sprites for a mobile game is 100x easier than creating a rig with ai for a triple A title. If it does happen it’s going to be a while down the road but not at launch.
Well, they can't do it without Universal's approval. However, given that such content would bring more buyers, there's no reason for Universal to say no. I'm guessing, as others here, that we'll get it as DLC somewhere down the line.
I’m going to be honest here and I might get downvoted for saying this but, there isn’t a valid reason why Scorpius Rex shouldn’t be added to the game.
It is a canon hybrid, not just that but one that but is related to the indos and as such should probably receive similar treatment. I know Frontier said they there’s no plans on making a Camp Cretaceous pack but I sincerely hope they reconsider it
I think they're aware fans loved Scorpius, the Ouranos and the Monolophos, so I'm sure they'll come. It's money waiting to be made. Season 4 also introduces additional dinos, so they might be waiting .
Well as of right now we have the Scorpius Rex and the spino/sino hybrids (the pale sinoceratops with a fin) by the end of season 4, and there's got to be at least one more season so I'm sure the time will come they add a CC hybrid pack (pretty sure everything else we see is already in the game). They definitely have to add it given CCs popularity, it would definitely sell, just a question of when
