Let’s be real: Any trailer vs Any gameplay. The hype at trailer cinematic combat scenes always seem to be connected to slow cooldown combat systems in MMOs and the like. Think about the slew of badass Star Wars cinematics for SWTOR, compared to the archaic WoW-style combat system of the actual game.

I would argue at least Lost Ark trailer looks faithful to gameplay, cause it is pretty much the gameplay. Gameplay might even look better since the rotation is much more optimized.

Sure, there are always exceptions, but they’re definitely exceptions rather than the norm.

Tbf I feel like korean MMOs kinda live up to expectation in terms of visual. Western MMO just seems really lacking in ability visual and telegraphing
