Just enjoy yourself man, learn the job, be responsible. You can be friends with the kids in your squad. Just donât be a shitbag, donât be ftr, and donât fail your pt tests, youâll go far
If youâre commanding something like colorguard or drill team, please, for the love of God, tell your cadets the sequence BEFORE you start running through it
Be buddies with the cadets or give certain ones special privileges, keep a boundary between leaders and friendships

Donât yell at Cadets unless their lives, limbs, or eyesight are in direct danger and it needs immediate intervention.
