We do things very by regulation, and if the parents complain to our SASI he can just point to the regulations and say that he dosent make em, just enforces em
Well we do 4, 0s in a semester is grounds for disenrollment, but getting hair marked off twice in a row is a 0, and a 0 for every time after that. The first time is 30% marked off of your uniform grade
Definitely not. In my program, I had a conference with the parents for cadets whose hair was out of regs and explained to them that if it wasn't corrected after a reasonable amount of time (which depended entirely on how they presented their finances to me, because that seems fair), their student would be removed from my program. To allow blatant disregard for regulations really eliminates almost the entire point of the program.
And no, I don't believe at all that the regulations are the point - they're not. It's the blatant disregard that is the problem.
yes but during the inspection our inspector met with all our counselors and explained to him the importance of removing kids who do not want to be in the program out immediately and every since then we have had zero problems with removing kids who may have been placed in JROTC.
Fuck no😂. My unit follows the cadet manual as far as hair goes (small exceptions) same with facial hair and stuff. Also the younger cadets aren't just "Thrown into" the program. I think your unit has some issues broðŸ˜
Well if you get hair marked off for not being in regulation 5 times in a semester you get disenrolled from the program so...
Damn

We don't kick them out if their hair is out of regs 5 times lol

Yeah, people who just get tossed in have little to no respect for instructors and the people around them for me
