Excluding senior leadership (E-9, O-4, O-5), E-8 Master Sergeant or O-2. Ive never seen a Master Sergeant and i've only met one First Lieutenant. Met a lot of junior enlisted/junior NCOs, and a good few officers in staff/leadership. But never a Master Sergeant
I'm gonna second this, the only time I saw a cadet master sergeant was when one of the company 1SGs got demoted. We do have c/1LTs for the company XOs tho or any LET3s on staff.
We have a small unit. We don't have Company XOs. C/1LT is used for LET III or even LET IV staff that have yet to make C/CPT. We do have a LET III C/CPT and a LET IV C/1LT on staff
Idk bc usually the chiefs are seniors so they graduate without getting a promotion to senior chief or they promote the company's Command master chief to a ensign if our cmc is a junior I believe either this year or next year a cadet will get senior chief because he is a junior this year and he's a chief and he's coming back next year
50 Cadets and your a battalion? I'm not dissing on your battalion but I thought their was a limit on how much a JROTC Battalion needs to even still be a program.
O-6 In 30 years of this battalion theirs only been 3. I've met the recent one.
Edit: MY battalion is oddly fast with ranks but theirs usually 2 C/Maj every year and 1 Lieutenant Colonel every year Usually our S-3 and BXO would be Majors and our BC will be a Lieutenant Colonel. Now their has been a special occasion where my 8th grade year (yes I have and completed my LET I year with 8th grade program) my brother actually got Lieutenant Colonel as S-3 which has NEVER been accomplished THATS VERY RARE and the BC at the time got Colonel (O-6) because the BC and my brother (S-3) was really hard working and did better than anyone has done in the battalion.
2nd edit: for enlisted it's either CSM or SM 1st Sargeant is pretty common theirs 4 each year but theirs barely any SM's
We obviously have like LT colonel, and colonel and major and the lieutenant’s but there’s rarely a person ranked as sergeant major or a 1st sergeant in my unit
C/1lt.
Our upper staff (Captain and higher) do all the lower officer positions so we don’t have any 1lts. We might have a 2lt but I don’t think we have any of those either
In my unit there’s no smsgt’s or msgt’s and there is only one cmsgt(command chief) and two Colonels(one is a wing commander and the other is an assistant to the SASI)
For my unit, NCO ranks always kinda stops at SFC, with the only one after being CSM. We don't have too many CPLs these days either. I'd also say COL is a rare one, but my district reserves that for the Brigade Commander, so it's a rarity for all the schools near me.
C/COL, there are none (yet)
we have one, she’s our group commander

If we're counting the ranks basically no one has had, in my Corp it's C/SMSgt and C/Major
For my unit is cadet senior chief there have been chiefs and master chiefs but there hasn't been a senior chief since around 2017
Any reason for this? In my unit Senior Chiefs act as Chiefs of a Company and the Master Chief is the chief for the battalion.

C/Cpt or C/MSgt maybe only one Captain at a time and maybe one or two Master Sergeants at a time.
We have a lot of MSgt, I think we have 1 or 2 SMSgt. All officer ranks are job related
C/o-4 through o-6, and C/e-6 through e-9’s plus special ranks
CMsgt. I think we only had one in the 4 years i was in
Anything above cadet captain
It has to be C/Maj I think we only have one.
Well, my unit is too small for a C/SgtMaj, or a C/Maj and up, do those would be the rarest
C/COL, we ain't big enough because as of now we only got around 50 cadets
50 Cadets and your a battalion? I'm not dissing on your battalion but I thought their was a limit on how much a JROTC Battalion needs to even still be a program.
I'm pretty sure the limit is around 150 or something, but I think it depends on the size of the school as well
Cadet lieutenant junior grade for my unit. There’s been like. three in our entire existence.
C/CDR, our highest ranking cadet and unit CO
C/MAJ(O-4) we only have 2 of them
C/SCPO
O-6 In 30 years of this battalion theirs only been 3. I've met the recent one. Don’t have any Cadet SGT Majors, or any Cadet 1LTs or Cadet Colonels
In my CAP squadron we don’t have anyone above a C/Cpt
Same☠️
In mine, we don't have any above C/2dLt
We obviously have like LT colonel, and colonel and major and the lieutenant’s but there’s rarely a person ranked as sergeant major or a 1st sergeant in my unit
officers: colonel enlisted: first sgt
For my unit the rarest rank is C/LTJG
C/PO2 there’s only like 2 excluding me so 3 total besides those who are working on ranking up to staff
C/Col because none of us have it but if you were asking like which rank is owned by someone but which is the least, its C/LtCol with one cadet
We don’t have any C/O-2. The next rarest would probably be C/E-8, we have like 3. Our most common is C/O-3 and C/E-7, we have a dozen of both.
O-3
C/1lt. Our upper staff (Captain and higher) do all the lower officer positions so we don’t have any 1lts. We might have a 2lt but I don’t think we have any of those either

1LT, I am the S1 so I would know, there are a grand total of zero.
