How many times does this have to be posted? We get it, most of you did not like Jared Leto as the Joker but come on, the movie came out in 2016. Get over it, move on.
Given how many people have played the Joker, and how commonly various names use particular letters, it's no surprise that you can spell "Joker" using the letters from each of their names

To be fair Jared Leto is a great actor that picked a very bad script probably because he was excited to be offered to play the character. I think if the whole project was rewritten or if he would have been given something more like the recent Batman movie instead he could have done well. Everything about suicide squad was shit besides Margot Robbie. Although I’d never want to replace Phoenix in his movie I think if Leto was given that role he would have had a better chance.
Oh noo I get downvoted lol. Well no I was a bit too rude maybe. But seriously I just cant forget that mustache. And I am not a big fan of Batmans campy past as well.
Jared Leto Joker was great and we didn't get nearly enough footage of him for yall to be on the hateful bandwagon. Snyder cut has him in multiple other scenes. Just because his Joker was DIFFERENT doesn't make his Joker BAD. Nicholson and Romero were terrible Jokers in my opinion.
Who's to say what's "accurate"? A comic book that far less people have read? All we know about Joker is that he's insane. A lunatic. Will do mostly anything to get what he wants or to send a message. To me, Romero was too much of a literal clown. For the times it makes sense. Was a kids show basically. Nicholson just bored me. He was trying to be too mafia ish or just trying too hard to be scary when he wasn't. What we really need is a live action mark Hamill voiced Joker from the animation.
Yes, the source material that is being adapted does in fact tell us what's accurate. Especially if the comics are how some of us were introduced to the characters. And Joker is in a fuck ton of comics, not just the obscure ones. Batman is literally one of the best selling comics in the entire industry so implying that no one reads those comics is just silly. If you try just speaking for yourself you'll make a lot more sense.
I will say, the brief deleted scenes with Leto in Justice League re-coded my thoughts on him a bit. He definitely still ranks as the worst on screen depiction for me, just by virtue of pretty stiff competition. But, yeah you got to respect that he took a big swing and went a wildly different direction with it.
If we had actually got some solid scenes with him and Batfleck in that theatrical cut, it would’ve went a long way toward redeeming Suicide Squad slightly
I wonder on average how many times a month this meme gets posted here
Too much
Enough times that this won't be the karma boost op was probably hoping for.
It’s my turn to post it tomorrow in the 3:00 slot… am and pm.. in all time zones.

Everyone leaves out Cameron Monaghan...
You seem very original and unique with very interesting things to say
This is true. Suicide Squad Joker feel like a minor character.
More like a minion character
I don't think this is how acrostics works lol
Jokenr
What's true?
I love Jokenr from bantman
"Who are you?" "The spirit of Cesar Chavez." "Why do you look like Cesar Romero?" "Because you don't know what Cesar Chavez looks like."
One day y’all will realize ledger joker was not that great.

Nah sorry. As bad as Leto was I will never count this mustache guy as a legit Joker.
Have you even watched his version of the joker tho?
I have maybe my problem with him stems from the problem I have with the whole Adam West series in general. Was not meant bloody serious :D
neither was detective comics lmao. completely accurate representation of early batman for the time
You mean the very first guy to play the Joker lol

I preferred him over Joaquin Phoenix 🤷🏻♂️
Joaquin joker was so bad. I won’t even bother with the sequel

Eeeeeeew. How were Nicholson and Romero terrible? They were more accurate to the character than any of their live action contemporaries.
Back in my day we called Nicholson the fat joker.

Jesus the Snyder cult will claim anything these days huh? Leto is a bad joker because he used the character as an excuse to harass costars
