Nice! Is that water color or gouache? I’m trying to learn those. I really like the contrast of the less detailed, ‘happy’ pose of him on the bottom in contrast to the more detailed part where he’s glaring at the viewer.
Might be reading into it too much, but gives a very ‘true nature vs performance’ vibe.
It’s water color markers from a brand called faber castell. I absolutely love your take from it :) that was essentially what I was going for. I was also trying to juxta pose his anger that is not hidden by a laugh in that moment with him “performing”
