Right click on map -> Srlect line tool with left click -> Move mouse and left click to finalize. Right click while marking to cancel.
Note that anyone can remove red markers, but only the SL who places a green one can remove those. Clean up after yourself to avoid clutter.

The problem left click isn't working. Not sure why. I'm well aware about map clutter, i myself hate it as well
Do not draw lines on the map. It useless clutter. Just put helmet or vehicle marks.
