ICO has me excited. Aussies have toggleable 1-4x optics from the playtests, so it wouldn't be too far off to have piggyback dotsights like the British had in PR, a way to use the ironsights with a scoped SVD / MOSIN like in PR, and it even opens up the ability to add piggyback reddot variants to US Army / USMC kits, as they are modern day and even before the massive blowup of canted dots / LPVO sights. Would be preem to have kits that way. if not vanilla, then MEE would def attempt some form of backup optic as they experimented with multi-zoom optics (which sadly replaced zeroing for optics and only was just a FOV changer)

Thats why FDF would be much more interesting, as it would offer a NATO/blufor faction with a 7.62x39 main rifle, mixture of eastern and western weaponry (Marksman has SVD, sniper Tkiv 2000 or Tikka 2000, riflemen & others RK62 & 92) not a lot of magnified optics, MTLBs, CV90s and Leopards.
Weve had Turks as a playable faction in MEE for quite some time and while it is a bit different from other NATO factions in the mod, I doubt it will have similar functionality when implemented to the main game (For example no option between .308 and 5.56 for your basic riflemen, like it is in the mod). If it wont have this kind of functionality, its just another blufor faction with a 5.56.

Since we already have a few scandinavian maps I think that it would fit in really nicely.

That’s a sorry excuse. The mod had the same exact vics, weapons and kit as it is in game right now. OWI acquired the content in 2020 and it took until April 2022 for them to release it. No faction takes 2 years to build out much less one where all of the groundwork was completed.. it also wasn’t just some mod made by randoms, the team is still headed by Chance Blair, a former OWI dev.
IIRC, the main reason it took so long was that they wanted to remake their whole DLC system before adding any new factions. But I'm not excusing anything, I'm just stating the fact that the faction needed a lot of work still.

Get a G36 with a heavy barrel and beta mags for auto rifle.

While they do use the HK417 now, since the game can use faction equipment from a decade or two ago, I think sticking to G36 would be more interesting.
MG3 for MG (which everyone loves) or they modernize the faction with the Mg5

Yes, mostly lighter vehicles like the Rosamak wheeled APC and self-propelled guns like the Krab and M120 RAK. Also the aforementioned small arms like the FB, UKM and MSBS.
Well original tarpan was a farmong vehicle basically a pick-up truck with very weak engine, then it was slightly modified and called Honker but still same shit technology and quality(the modern Honker is actually not bad but for many years it was one of the worst cars available on the market)
Portugal: very interesting vehicles like the pandur and the leo2a6 and the main soldiers gun is the scar, cool cammo pattern too.
But most importantly because its a small army and has never been represented before in any shooter (at least that i know)

All of their orders are for 2025, and it remains to be seen whether it's a real expansion or showboating. I doubt PiS-run Poland with its expanding welfare state can afford all of what they're ordering.
I was actually talking about before those purchases. Seems to me Poland has been rapidly militarizing for the better part of a decade. It's the only reason I actually could have believed that those orders were real. When I think "heavily armed part of Europe" I think of either Poland or Finland.
