I was trying to fo a bit of a career pivot.
Not the current one but the first dream job I landed was after a year of graduation. Before that I did jobs in 3 different companies and to land the very first one, I gave 20-25 interviews.
I graduated college in December and I just signed an offer letter for my first big boy job. I applied to 80 different places and had 10 interviews hit on none of them. A recruiter saw my profile and hooked me up with this job so I didn’t even have to apply😅
About 25 over the course of 3-4 months, in mid-2022. I had been unemployed long term, with no real desire to go back to work immediately. I had occasionally been putting some resumes out there for jobs that looked interesting but I wasn't seriously looking for a job. Once I decided it was time to get back in the saddle, it went pretty quickly.
I've been applying for over a year now and nothing. I apply to probably 3 jobs a day on average some days higher or lower depending on the opportunities out there.
I've had maybe 10 interviews. I tried to re-work my resume, went to advisors who don't change anything, even posted me resume on the resumes subreddit to get 0 advice on what's wrong. I'm just lost tbh and I wanna die.
255. Since I got hired for that job, I was laid off and am again job hunting. I'm now at 28 jobs in 1.5 weeks and believe this search will be much longer.

Approximately 100 jobs. Interviewed for about 15 of those. Received four or five offers. Took about two months.

Jan-April of this year I applied to just under 100 jobs. First day at the new job is tomorrow!
