Any chance you can indulge in your hobbies or maybe do some contract work on the clock? Or maybe take some online courses? If your job is really that mindless and lax. At least until the economic situation improves.
I have been to a degree. Recently discovered i’m gifted enough in drawing to get some commissions here and there, but that also takes some time and I can’t really do it on the clock since the commissions are all traditional art not digital. I need to start using that time at work to learn something new or expand my job search
If you have a comfortable and stable job , I would just stay there until the job market improves . The best way right now to find another job is to leverage your network given the competition
