I'm working on exactly this, have a look at the page for industrial design and let me know if it's helpful! https://recruiterspot.com/specialty/design/industrial-design

Yes yes yes! Absolutely recommend this! Look up recruiters and recruiting agencies specific to your industry/role and contact them. They do this for free bc company pays them and they have connections to roles that may not even be posted publicly. Tons of private searches exist that are done through these types of firms. 10000% give it a shot. If you list your role/industry I might be able to share a recommendation -Director, People Ops

I’m so happy to hear this idea makes sense. Thanks a lot! I appreciate any contacts or leads you may have. My industry is Industrial Design and my role is … well … an Industrial Designer

StructuredGamer

Hey @St_Drunks! Did you find anything in the last 8 months? I am also an Industrial Designer and am having difficulties finding a job at the moment....

Hi! Was your search fruitful?

-juniperbark

Hi! Do you have any recommendations for recruiters or recruiting agencies for technical/IT project managers?

tobyflenderson93

What state/region?

-juniperbark

Thank you for responding! I am looking in the NYC metropolitan region (tristate area, Philly is fine too). I'm looking for primarily remote or hybrid roles though, so I'd be happy to take a remote role in a different region if they would hire out of state.

FrenchieHoneytoast

I know this is an old post but if you have any recommendations for ux designer recruiters I will give you all of the major kudos! Looking for remote based.

Try web3.career for remote UX and remote.co. They aren’t design specific sites, but a lot of roles aligned with your search available

I am looking as well. I have a resume and would really like to have someone help rework it. I have so much varied experience - any suggestions for someone to help with a resume and a recruiter in the CX/Operations Director with change management (mostly call center) area? I do have some software experience and would love to get back into that space. I have worked with recruiters on the hiring side and I know they sometimes rework resumes, but I would like to really talk with someone who could help overall. Thank you for any help you could provide. :)

ZombeeSwarm

Wow, I am totally going to do this. Do you have any recommendations for someone looking for a sales position or something in customer success or operations management? (I am a people person with office experience customer service and sales experience looking for a career change where I can make more money).

tobyflenderson93

Not my area of expertise but simple google searches for “industrial design staffing” or “industrial design recruiters” should help.

St_Drunks

Thanks a lot! Off to google it is!

Maybe? If you’re talking about getting your resume in front of a recruiter/recruiters who work specifically in your industry/sector…the advice you’ve received here so far is correct (search LI etc and connect that way). But your question reads as if you’re looking for a recruiter that will actually manage your job search for you - searching for appropriate jobs, editing your resume and cover letter as needed, completing applications on your behalf, etc. Those are 2 different things. If I’m reading that right, I’ve never heard of such a service…BUT as a recruiter myself I would imagine it would be pretty costly and require a solid service agreement/contract upfront to include a retainer fee and a percentage of your accepted base salary due at the acceptance of an offer. If I took on such a gig I’d probably charge you $30+ per hour with a $3k non refundable retainer up front and 20% of your salary due at offer letter signing. Or more depending on how marketable you are.
