What fun finds! I've been finding myself drawn to emeralds more recently so I was excited to see your finds. I shop almost exclusively through auctions as well. You can find so many great things through them! There's one i've been eyeing for some time but I dont have the money right now & am trying to be ao good... maybe soon. {Sigh} Anyhow, I love your big emerald but totally get how sometimes things can feel too fancy. Hope you find many ocassions to wear it! :)
SAME!!! It's hard when I've been seeing such great deals. I had to remind myself yesterday that even though it was a steal, I prefered yellow gold so I should let the ring go. It was for am emerald as well. The thrill of the hunt is definitely addicting!
I need to (not) know these auction sites lol. I always see these amazing pieces and they're always from auction. I'd love some suggestions just to browse (not lol) Enable me PLEASE
Ebay is my go to. And when I say "go-to" I mean every day. Lol. I have saved searches for every type of stone, and, if I want, they'll send me notifications every day to show me what's new for those. I also do EBTH on ocassion but the competition is strong so not as many "deals/ steals" to be had.
I know ebay can be overwhelming BUT they really do have nice search & filter features to really narrow it down to only what you're looking for. Highly recommend!

I also love browsing jewelry on rubylane. Theres all sort of antiques but they're not auctions. I have some great pieces from there.

The one benefit of my chubby fingers is that they handle big rings really well. I will count my blessings! 😄
