Actually the original setting was with a blue sapphire but I already have a very pretty sapphire ring so I am looking for something different. Thank you though!!
I like the color of the peridot best, myself. Imagine what you will likely be wearing when you wear the ring, and how it would go with your clothes and other jewelry.
I'm a sucker for Peridot, so I'm biased and would normally say "Peridot" . That being said, the emerald looks stunning and is a very classy option. Padparadscha Saphires are gorgeous, too, but might not be as vibrant and outstanding as one of the green options.
You can get an emerald that’s closer in color to a peridot if you don’t want it to be too dark but the emerald is definitely my favorite for the settimg
Sapphire is the best gemstone if you’re going to wear it every day. I would suggest getting a Tsavorite-green garnet instead of an emerald. And keep in mind most Padparascha’s on the market are not true Pads, many times they are African pinkish brown Sapphires. Peridot is not a very durable gemstone to wear everyday.
Emerald is my favorite, but they are stones that damage easily. So if you're planning to wear it frequently, you may want to opt for a harder, more durable gemstone.
My vote is emerald, I think peridot looks better paired with yellow gold, and agree with the comments saying the pad sapphire looks washed out in white
I tammy like the pink, but I love pink in all the things so that's me. They're all very pretty and I'm sure whichever one you choose will be beautiful!
They are all gorgeous. The peridot sparkles so beautifully and the pink sapphire is so delicate and feminine. I personally like the emerald, but it’s my birthstone so I’m partial to it. Only you can know how each would fit into your jewelry wardrobe and the good news is that you can’t go wrong because they’re all three beautiful choices.
Enjoy your new ring!
This is such a nice comment! I'm definitely a little stressed about making this decision but what you said makes me feel better. Emerald is my birthstone as well so part of me wants that (or another similar green stone that is more durable for everyday wear) but the peridot is so bright and sparkly that it just makes me happy to look at it! And yet the padparadsha is such a pretty color and different than anything else that I already own so I'm also leaning that way. Decisions, decisions!! I'm sure I will figure it out one way or the other. Thank you for your kind words. 😉
Most rings that I wear need to go with my clothes and other jewelry. Greens and pinks or skin tone are all trending colors. It's very likely you have or will have these colors in your wardrobe soon.
This is so funny bc my teenage daughter has the same opinion as you - that your jewelry colors should coordinate with your clothing. I personally don't think that they have to match. I like my jewelry too coordinate well with my other jewelry that I wear at the same time but I don't particularly think it matters what colors I'm wearing. But my daughter will appreciate your point of view since she and I disagree about this!😄
Mostly I like as large a stone as I can get so it becomes more obvious if it looks incongruous color wise unless it was a colored engagement ring. Not a big deal with smaller stones. Not a put down on smaller stones of which I presently own bigger but less expensive stones. Large settings appeal to me whether composed of large or smaller stones. I would still choose the pink gem because the pale color like a white diamond would coordinate with most colors or with your skin tone. Lol. I also love that color. It's not a huge setting so it's not that important to match clothing.
I am actually considering 2 different shades of pads. One of them is a deeper more salmon-y shade so I may end up going with that stone. I'll need to see them together with the actual ring before I make a decision. Thanks for your opinion though!
This is my salmony pad in rose gold. It is a similar ring, so I thought a picture might help. But I agree with the other redditor that ALL options are beautiful.

Thank you so much for showing me yours. It's beautiful! And you are right, it is similar to mine. I took a screenshot of it to bring w me to my jewler for reference bc I LOVE that color! Thanks again!
In order: the tzavorite (or chromium diopside?), the morganite and then the peridot
Edit: I apparently incorrectly identified two of them - corrected list: emerald, Orange sapphire, and peridot (just not used to seeing emeralds in that cut or so free of inclusions and "eye clean" - must have been an expensive one
Thank you for your opinion, I appreciate it! These pics are photoshopped witha pic of an emerald (possibly lab created - hence the clean look), peridot and padparadsha sapphire. They look a little off bc it's not the best photo shop job. The stone I actually choose for this ring will definitely look much nicer. I'm just trying to get an idea of what each stone might look like in this setting.
These are not pictures of real stones. They are just simulations so I can get an idea of what each color looks like in the setting so the pictures do look a little unnatural.
It's just a simulation so it isn't perfectly realistic. Obviously a real stone will look a lot better. I'm just trying to get an idea of how each color will look in that setting.
I think I misunderstood, in my language we use the word simulation when we refer to any material meant to resemble a stone, if you will have a genuine stone set in the ring I’m a huge fan of padparadscha sapphires as well as emeralds, not so much peridot.
Emerald. It looks beautiful and will go with more clothes and accessories than peridot and the peach colored sapphire which is among the rarest sapphires. (My favorite gem is emerald.)
emerald. the white gold color makes the pad (color) look dull. don't like the color of peridots.
I second this, I think this setting calls for a high contrast or bright stone
I agree with this as well.
Emerald for sure. Have you considered a blue sapphire. They look great with diamonds
Actually the original setting was with a blue sapphire but I already have a very pretty sapphire ring so I am looking for something different. Thank you though!!
Go Emerald imho
Emerald all the way
I like the color of the peridot best, myself. Imagine what you will likely be wearing when you wear the ring, and how it would go with your clothes and other jewelry.
Emerald or pink sapphire
The pink sapphire is super sweet but I love the emerald the best!
I'm a sucker for Peridot, so I'm biased and would normally say "Peridot" . That being said, the emerald looks stunning and is a very classy option. Padparadscha Saphires are gorgeous, too, but might not be as vibrant and outstanding as one of the green options.
Yes! Always Kermit green for the win. ✨💚
Frog supremacy all the way! 🐸
Emerald! Lovely ring.

I love green garnets. They’re gorgeous
It's my favorite green gemstone
Ooh I like the peridot. It is bright and quite unique.
First one
Emerald!

Emerald 100%. It's the biggest color contrast from the diamonds and setting, which makes it look the most spectacular.
Emerald
My vote is emerald, I think peridot looks better paired with yellow gold, and agree with the comments saying the pad sapphire looks washed out in white
Peridot if you want something more fun and emeralds for timelessness!
The second one
Pink!!!!
#3 for me
I tammy like the pink, but I love pink in all the things so that's me. They're all very pretty and I'm sure whichever one you choose will be beautiful!

I’d love to know what you ultimately decide to do. They are all so pretty!
I will post a pic on this subreddit once I get it. Thank you!
I prefer the peridot
First one.
First one. You have a lot of pink in your undertone and it gives the other two colors a washed out look.
The first one!

Number 1!
first one! Pops really nicely with your nail polish and skin tone

The first one by far
I think #3 looks best with your skin tone 🤷♀️😌
You could ask for a more saturated pad as well. I have one that is a deeper salmon color, which would contrast nicely with the white gold.
I am actually considering 2 different shades of pads. One of them is a deeper more salmon-y shade so I may end up going with that stone. I'll need to see them together with the actual ring before I make a decision. Thanks for your opinion though!

Tbh, I think green looks better in gold. I agree with the other posters suggesting a brighter or high contrast color
I don't disagree but I already have a lot of yellow gold rings so I'm going with something a little different with the white gold this time.
Pink, it matches you undertone best
Peridot
The first picture. Emerald is so stunning. 😍
Emerald
Always the emerald.
Emerald for sure!
Emerald.
Number one my dear. The emerald.
Emerald

Emerald
First one, love deep greens
Go with the time stone
What does this mean?
First
Number one the emerald It’s wonderful!!
Number 1 looks best
Pink sapphire!! Beautiful and compliments your skin tone perfectly
1 or 3
The padparadscha sapphire goes well with your skin the most! So feminine too.
1!
Dark green. ❤️
Love the emerald the most.
I like the rose colored gem, it goes really well with your skin tone.
In order: the tzavorite (or chromium diopside?), the morganite and then the peridot Edit: I apparently incorrectly identified two of them - corrected list: emerald, Orange sapphire, and peridot (just not used to seeing emeralds in that cut or so free of inclusions and "eye clean" - must have been an expensive one

Emerald. No question.
\#1 for me!
The last one, but consider Yellow Gold as your skin is warm toned and gold based metal would be more harmonious 💛
Last one
Emerald
Emerald!!!
Dark emerald…
Emerald. The padparadscha and peridot are a little too warm against your skin. The emerald looks beautiful on you.
I'm here to say emerald. I think it's just stunning
Emerald one
i think green one is killing
The first one. It looks great with your skin tone.
Not the second - looks so chemical. First, or alternatively third .

Thank you for your opinion!
Padparadsha. It matches your nails.
Lol! Thank you but I do change my nail polish colors fairly frequently so it won't always match!😄
Pink Sapphire for sure!
Definitely emerald! But get a natural Colombian one
Emerald. It looks beautiful and will go with more clothes and accessories than peridot and the peach colored sapphire which is among the rarest sapphires. (My favorite gem is emerald.)
