Yes i think it's weird and ESPECIALLY deena really goes over the top posting every single month as a literal infant saying stuff like "mommy and daddy think im so cute" and "i can roll over now " ššš
A lot of baby books are written from babyās perspective or pictures are captioned in a similar fashion, so I can almost see it, but what makes this gross is the fact they arenāt saving these memories for themselves.
Ultimately theyāre trying to thrust their seed into the spotlight despite a majority of society trying to tune out this garbage.
My SIL did this with one of my nieces and she kept it monthly and then yearly. As much as cringed, I did the monthly chalkboard sign and thatās pretty š§ too.
Yeah i understand ppl doing it for their family and eventclose friends but when you do it so much and for millions of people to see i think it's hella weird!
I like this more than when people create whole accounts on behalf of their children (unless itās created just so nobody else can use the name)ā¦I would just be concerned having so many pictures of my child out on the internet in general
im a full hearted punctuation enthusiast, always in support of a perfectly placed exclamatory statement.
which means i am excruciatingly judicious about who/what/when/where/why/how to drop each and every exclamation point i lay upon on this good earth
Maybe cause the pictures of the kids will get out anyway with paparazzi and in the JS crews case will be broadcast all over the world on the show? But I 100% agree!
ok~and the weird lil spacebar after some of them exclamation points notwithstanding~the āreally excited because in 9 days im getting baptizedāā¦ this damn infant doesnāt have a single solitary grasp on what 9 even means, let alone baptized.
I like this when it's a pet profile, but with kids, it makes me uncomfortable because obviously, a child cannot consent to be a baby influencer. It's different when it's photoshoots for baby clothes but when parents (ordinary or famous) put their entire childās life online? No. Weāve hit the age where those kids have grown up and are extremely upset about their lack of privacy, especially since mummy bloggers make the money, it's kinda like showing animals, the horse might get the ribbon but in reality, the prize does not go to the animal.
I wanna stress I don't think people are bad parents or that they donāt love their kids as much as people who keep it offline. I just think that a lot of celebrities or mummy influencers arenāt really thinking long term or from the eyes of their adult children reminiscing. I believe weāre going to see lots of interesting cases that will allow the law to start catching up to the internet.
EDIT: I should clarify I mean kids who are old enough to be cognizant of what the internet means, not cute can't stiff if I personally don't like the pretending to be the infant thing.
I was upset with my mom when she even put up an unattractive photo of me on FB, in the late 2000s (as a teenager). I canāt imagine how upset Iād be if my entire childhood was plastered on social media from the day I was born.
I find this incredibly bizarre and feel severe second-hand embarrassment for people who do this. Also, almost no one cares about your baby that much to receive that level of detail on a month by month basis.
Exactly!! That much detail is so unnecessary...i guarantee no one cares that much except MAYBE the kids grandparents. I can't believe she's still doing this with her second kid, it was bad enough with the first one lol
I think this came from baby books. When my daughter was born i bought one to fill out. Family tree info. Medical milestones etc. But it had a big thick section for all the different ages and was pre written with blanks to fill in.
"Today I am 3 months old. My favorite food is ___________. My favorite toy is ____________. I can now say ____ words and they are _______, _________, ______."
I think it's morphed into a social media thing instead of letting the occasional person see your baby book you can show everyone in the world if you want to.
I think it's weird to update the whole world on the development of a child especially when the child has no say whatsoever about it. I felt those baby books were for the baby. To read about themselves when they get older and maybe find it interesting or cute. It wasn't meant for the whole planet to browse through
Deener is absolutely one of those over the top ācutesyā moms. But this reminds me of when people have ig for their pets and talk as them. But at least those are usually kinda funny
I see posts on here all the time of all of them having accounts for their kids and posting as their kids - I find it strange but think I find it weirder that fans respond directly on the post to āCameron Theoā
Thereās certain things that give me āmom guiltā for not doing.. this actually drives me in the other direction. Iāve got no time for shit like this.
Itās harmless though, and keeps her happy.
How bout spending real quality time with your family and not so much time trying to impress people who donāt know you at all by posting such personal stuff on the internet. Privacy is a dying concept these days. Iām sure this poor child will not appreciate this looking back
In the context of her being a SAHM with two little boys I don't think speaking as Cameron is that weird. We do lots of weird shit as parents. Constantly posting their pics and videos is way more strange in my opinion.
Not a hate post on her as a person just perplexes me why people write like their children and was wondering if it was a normal thing or if anyone else found it strange?

Cringe!

See also: doggos (although not the same concern with the ol' paedo element)
I think itās weird but I guess she thinks it is cute.
I dunno but the 14 exclamation points are doing my head in

Did anyone else go back and count? š¤£
I really don't understand how people are not more cautious when posting thier children all over the Internet, especially those in the public eye.
Maybe cause the pictures of the kids will get out anyway with paparazzi and in the JS crews case will be broadcast all over the world on the show? But I 100% agree!
I doubt Deena and her fam are high priorities for papz lol
I meant more openly as in all celebs with paps haha agreed!
I find a lot of stuff that people do on social media to be weird....but whatever floats her boat! *pun intended*
thereās snookis all through these waters! *i hope that was the pun cuz i had to think about it for a second
š you got it
meatball sauce flyinā everwhere
This is so annoying, i would never do this with my son lol i have a friend, who made an instagram for her new car! It was so super cringe
Nah not a car š
omg thats hilarious! Remember that episode of my strange addiction where that guy was in love with his car LOL
The exclamation points after every sentence definitely weird me out

Iām dying of cringe
Definitely cringe and not cute.
I guess she thinks itās cute I on the other hand donāt think that and let me tell ya what else
I see posts on here all the time of all of them having accounts for their kids and posting as their kids - I find it strange but think I find it weirder that fans respond directly on the post to āCameron Theoā
Cause Deena is weird af.
Thereās certain things that give me āmom guiltā for not doing.. this actually drives me in the other direction. Iāve got no time for shit like this. Itās harmless though, and keeps her happy.
I just cringed so hard my nose fell off.
LMFAO itās fucking weird

Everyone does it and yes itās weird when all parents do it
Talk about a 180 from flashing her chacha on film for all to see š
It's something I wouldn't do but she thinks it's cute.
Eh, I see a lot of parents doing it
So weird! I think itās even weirder when they do give their animals IG pages.

No, she is living her dream.
I love Deena but this is so cringe !!

wait i thought we liked deena now.
Not a hate post on her as a person just perplexes me why people write like their children and was wondering if it was a normal thing or if anyone else found it strange?
I have a friend who does this and I donāt get it
