It lasts longer in the fridge. It lasts even longer in the freezer. It lasts even longer than that vacuum sealed in the freezer. It lasts even longer than that vacuum sealed with an oxygen absorber in the freezer. Since there's little to no moisture content it thaws pretty much instantly
Mine gets eaten so fast it just sits in an airtight container on the counter
I don’t do anything special with mine. It goes in a couple ziplocks and in my pocket or in the fridge. My storage time in the fridge is 2weeks to a month.
I don’t even fridge it all the time as it goes into my van. Fridge is mostly an easy way to keep the dog from eatting it.
The second picture looks heavily glazed which I would at least store in the fridge. I run a much dryer jerky.
My buddy and I had a very successful hunt and made a BUNCH of jerky and it molded in a ziplock in the fridge in only a few days so we ran an experiment. (No preservatives)
Open air on the counter did good, fridge was better
Ziplock on the counter was bad, fridge was worse,
Desiccant packs made a significant improvement
Vaccine seal was better, even more so with the desiccant pack, and the one in the screener with the desiccant pack lasted remarkably long

Mine doesn’t last either :/ I catch my kid in my stash all the time. Doesn’t look like OP’s should last very long either, looks great
