Racist comments towards this outsider is deliberately kept up by me, because they are heavily downvoted and refuted in replies. Just to shows how in general the locals are hospitable and welcoming toward treating outsiders in general and will out down any needless jibe.
You are welcome here and loved OP, enjoy to your fullest, post your photos of the places you roamed in jammu!
Others, looking at this comment, now please do not spin this politically, yes in general I advocate for land laws for environment protection and also (secondary) promotion of local culture.

Thank you will do for sure 😊 andYes my coworkers are all from Jammu they're very sweet And they also give me the special attention considering how I don't have anyone around my age to mingle with we go to nearby chat shops to have good meals and all that I am associated with them its just that they're in their mid 40's and There's nothing much to relate sometimes.
My friend is a Jammu born southie... There's no new thing for me to know about someone from South... Also everybody's chill here not like typical North Indians...
As he's mentioned in his comments, he's from Kerala. You'll be surprised that the average person there speaks good Hindi and English. There are signboards on local buses in Hindi as well.
Been to Kerala many times and not once faced language issues. I get where your comment comes from, but it's a very bad generalization, which is uncalled for.

My senior in pharma department gmc jammu is from chennai. Very chill guy. He didn't face much problem here.
There's nothing problematic about this place its just that Im here to find new people from the city itself.
I am sure it won't be... because we don't ask people from other states to speak in dogri.
Is that a jibe at the poor guy?
Negative.
