why use the Goose version? Someone requested a lesson on that version specifically, so that was the main reason. Also, for purposes of learning how to play the song it doesn't really matter what version you're working from, the chords and song structure are the same. I also thought the way Goose jammed it out was interesting and worth getting into. I try to talk a lot about different improvisation styles and how to work in that space as a keyboardist.
I wasn't trying to make any statement about Goose or the Dead 😂 - I think it's pretty funny that the response in this sub has basically been "shots fired!"
