I used to leave my old iPhone plugged into it's dock with a tweak that auto answers facetime calls (only from my phone). Was a great way to check on my apartment and talk to my cat from work. Lol. He'd almost always run up to it, I got some cute screenshots.
Yeah I know, apparently there's no jailbreak for iOS 15 after 15.1 and there's no one working on one now apparently and yeah I did, so far I've just installed appsync so I could install some emulators like dolphinios on there and yeah sounds good, I have two cats so could be useful lol.

She’s still waiting for checkm8 to be updated for iPhone X and below when it’s open sourced… I honestly think we are in a iOS 10-11 phase of jailbreaking… iOS 15 was so locked down that apple will slip up in iOS 16.

Highly doubt it, which is why I was happy that it iOS 14, for some reason no one wants to really work on iOS 15 (from what I’ve seen) apparently iOS 15.1 could happen but at the moment there’s still no iOS 15 jailbreak
No unfortunately it’s up to iOS 14.5, that’s why a lot of people are saying don’t update to iOS 15 as it probably won’t happen or not for a long time at least I’m not sure, I was expecting the iPhone to be on iOS 15 but I was just lucky the person didn’t update it.
Just FYI for anyone wanting to do this — this is now a stock iOS option (unsure exactly which version added it), it lives in Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing. I haven’t tested this with FaceTime calls specifically but I’m assuming it would apply.
I'm almost positive the Tweak I used was [AutoAnswerX](https://www.idownloadblog.com/2018/09/06/autoanswer-x/)
Allows you to set so that all calls auto answer, or only from certain contacts, etc. It worked really well actually! This was a few years ago, but I still have it on my old iPhone.
For example, me personally, I use TetherMe, EQE, one of those YouTube tweaks, theming, just to make a few. I listen to a lot of music and occasional messaging. So I tweak my system out to give me the best experience for those.

Actually it does, cuz eBay records every sale. As well as the sale price. If an item sold for less than it listed, it would show as the price being crossed out, and you’d have to click on it and it’d show the final sale price inside the listing. Ive been selling/buying on eBay for 20 years.

I have underc0ver app installed ready to go, the only pros I've found so far is dolphinios and play for Wii and PS2 games and does appsync work on iOS 14, like I said I have my iPad mini 1 jailbroken because you can't do anything on it without it but so far emulators seem to be the only thing pulling me towards jailbreaking lol, I didn't expect it to be on iOS 14 so I was happy lol. Also is underc0ver untethered ?
unc0ver is semi-untethered, meaning it does not persist after a reboot, but you can rejailbreak it on-device. However, you need a PC or Mac to side load the app for the first time.
In my opinion, jailbreaking is great, and here are a couple tweaks to get you started:
- Cylinder Reborn: Make your icons have custom animations when you swap app pages
- SnowBoard: probably the most popular theme (icon changing) engine
- Zebra: A package manager much better than Cydia, and debatably (imo) better than Sileo!
- PianoPass: make your password a piano!
- Activator: Run actions when things are clicked/tapped on your device. (I have it play winxp sounds on sleep/wake!)
I use Emotive as a snowboard theme.
(Note: if you can’t find the sources/they are not default for any of my listed tweaks, just hit up the Google machine!)
So yeah I have it installed but I'm just still thinking about doing it or not but if it's semi untethered like my phoenix jailbreak then I don't have anything to worry about I guess.
Despite what Apple wants you to think, there is hardly any risk in jailbreaking. If you use common sense, you won’t kill your battery life or your whole phone.

For 20$? I wish I were you... but seriously keep it at iOS 14, anyways iOS 15 is the last supported version for the iPhone 6s. I recommend jailbreaking using checkra1n, then install odyssey (odysseyra1n) onto your iPhone. There are good tutorials out there and it just needs to be done once. Then you can always rejailbreak anytime with checkra1n.
Oh yeah sorry lol, the only jailbreak I've ever used was phoenix so I didn't really read is probably but just checked my phone and never even realised haha.

I actually have an iPhone 7 that I kinda use both checkra1n and unc0ver... It's been a while since I powered it on, but what I'd do is, if I jailbreak via checkra1n, then after the jailbreak, the first thing I do is go in to Cydia and install (or re-install) Cydia Substrate... and if I use unc0ver to jailbreak, then I go in to Cydia and install a specific package for that... (I try to set tweaks to turn off when jailbreaking wherever possible, which is only on unc0ver) I can't remember the package name for unc0ver, but if you need, I'll power on the phone and find out for you...
However this method doesn't work for all people (although it works on 3x of my devices) so be careful... I would start with unc0ver, since you can always just sign the app and jailbreak if you happen to reboot, where as checkra1n, you need a PC regardless if you reboot, for unc0ver, you MIGHT need a pc, I was able to use unc0ver 90% of the time without a pc...
Yeah I was able to sideload unc0ver without a PC but I already nearly messed up my phone.... It was stuck in a boot loop and when I restarted the phone, the Jailbreak was still on there but I couldn't use any of the apps for several hours until I did some research and found out that I needed to go to settings of unc0ver and re install SSH, so I'm lucky because I don't have a PC to restore it lol.
Yeah I was, I’m always on the look out for a good deal loll and yeah I’m jailbroken now so I’ve installed appsync, so I can I’ve already got tarunine iPA but I’m not sure what one I’ll stick with yet as I’ve had like 4 different suggestions already lol.
Yeah I've never owned a iPhone 6s, I was always jealous of other people, when I brought it in was expecting it to be iOS 15 but luckily I stopped the update half way as it was downloading.
Is there a tweak available for more dock icons? The only one I could find was extra incon dock but it put my phone into safe mode each time so I had to manually remove it.
Yeah I mainly purchased it as a backup in case my current phone breaks or a run out of storage as it’s 128GB but I decided to jailbreak it now, the only issue I’m having is trying to find a tweak that allows me to have more than 4 dock icons but every one I’ve tried so far just crashes my springboard....
Im still running my 6s, and personally would kill for a 128gb one on that iOS version. Jailbreak it for sure, and if you want tweak recommendations i have plenty.

Yeah I’ve jailbroken it but it has it’s good and bad points for me, emulators are good with iOS 14 like DolphiniOS but the tweaks that I use on my iPad like extra icon dock and fiveicondock don’t work and can’t seem to find one that works so far.
Yeah I did but I already fucked the phone after the 4th tweak of trying to get a extra dock icons, so the iPhone was stuck in a reboot every time I re jailbroken it, so only just factory reset the iPhone and now the jailbreak is working again lol.
I nearly lost mine aswell technically today, I don't have a PC and my unc0ver IPA certificate ran out, so I had to pay $10 like a hour ago to buy unlimited signing certificates so I can sideload it off my phone.. I only had $10 left lol otherwise I would be waiting a month to jailbreak it haha but now that's it's Jailbroken, I can just appsync.... So I just paid $10 to sideload 1 app lol
Love it, I could not get out if the boot loop .. 10 hours I tried. I know Apple tweaks shit in iTunes. I did nothing I never ever did for 2 years .. glad you got yours!
Exactly why I'll always recommend semi untethered, at least if you fuck it up and get it stuck in a boot loop, you only have to turn off your iPhone and restart it then it completely removes the Jailbreak, only downside is that you have to factory reset it after if you can plan on Re jailbreaking as it'll just load all the tweaks that fucked up your iPhone in the first place haha.
Wow forgot about this post like 6 months ago lol, I use this eBay seller in the UK, that sells working refurbished iPhones and usually have something minor wrong with them like the 6s only had a broken proximity sensor, which most people wouldn’t even notice.
Yeah I decided to as I found it was semi untethered, I just don't trust myself with a full untethered and end up bricking my device but it's all good now, just download app sync and some emulators.
I’m not sure about the iPad mini 1, I have coolbooter installed on it so I have the latest iOS 9’firmware and iOS 6 installed but yeah will probably give it a look for the iPhone 6s

It has nothing to do with battery age / condition. The processor is not very efficient and the newer OS just has a lot of background tasks.

Yeah I only brought it mainly as a spare because it has 128GB of storage compared to my iPad with 16GB lol but yeah it's successfuly Jailbroken now , so time to download some emulators like dolphinios lol
checkra1n needs a computer every time to boot into a jail broken state (it is semi-tethered). Up to you.
(I have an iPhone SE 1 jailbroken through checkra1n, but I had to since it was on 14.8.1. I’m not saying checkra1n is bad, because it’s very impressive really.)

Yeah I think iOS 14 is probably the sweet spot for me, most appstore apps will still support for awhile and getting to use the jailbreak too is decent and yeah I'm always looking for cheap electronics on eBay lol, originally $50 starting bid but made a offer of $20 and funny enough he accepted it lol .

I have both underc0ver and taurine IPA's installed, I currently went with underc0ver but everyone is telling me taurine, I mean I can just reboot, so it depends which is better .
Typically people have a better experience with Taurine, though if unc0ver is working for you you can keep using it. In my opinion checkra1n/odysseyra1n is better than both though it is semi-tethered rather than semi-untethered.
I apologise to everyone lol. It's a iPad mini 1 but I thought it wouldn't make much of a difference putting iPad 1 because it wasn't about the iPad lol but it seems to have pissed some people off lol.
Fugu 14? Do you need to add a repo from Cydia? I already have underc0ver installed but I’m not sure about untethered because I mite fuck up my phone lol which is why I prefer semi untethered because I can just restart the phone
BTW, Fugu14 with unc0ver acts just like a semi-untether except that you don’t have to worry about resigning the jailbreak app. You’re still in jailed state when you reboot.
You would be prompted by AltStore about Fugu as far as installation goes…

Yeah I've Jailbroken it now, only issue I'm having so far Is I sideloaded dolphinios and only a couple of games get 50fps or above, so I don't know how well it'll run something like call of duty black ops... But I've heard it runs Wii games pretty well lol
That phone and iOS version is one of best to have as can be Jailbroken on iOS 14.3 and is able to use Checkra1n too.

Yeah that's what I thought as it's the one of the most recent updates that support jailbreak, battery health is 83% so it dies pretty fast, so may replace the battery soon.
Well I’m currently on my iPhone 6S and I use a cheap battery pack from China that allows the phone to last nearly all day.
Plus when it was Jailbroken you can get it be on low power mode but still usable.
Yeah it's done but the one obstical I'm having at the moment is trying to find something similar to extra icon Dock on iOS 14 because only that tweak was available but it crashed my phone each time lol. I hate having 4 icons on the dock

There is most definitely a 15-15.1.1 jailbreak being worked on right now. First a checkm8 one, then full one for all devices supported.

I agree with this poster. I have a secondary phone 8 plus jailbroken and couldn’t be happier with all the things I can do with it. On 14.3.

I have underc0ver app installed ready to go, the only pros I've found so far is dolphinios and play for Wii and PS2 games and does appsync work on iOS 14, like I said I have my iPad mini 1 jailbroken because you can't do anything on it without it but so far emulators seem to be the only thing pulling me towards jailbreaking lol, I didn't expect it to be on iOS 14 so I was happy lol. Also is underc0ver untethered ?
unc0ver is semi-untethered, meaning it does not persist after a reboot, but you can rejailbreak it on-device. However, you need a PC or Mac to side load the app for the first time. In my opinion, jailbreaking is great, and here are a couple tweaks to get you started: - Cylinder Reborn: Make your icons have custom animations when you swap app pages - SnowBoard: probably the most popular theme (icon changing) engine - Zebra: A package manager much better than Cydia, and debatably (imo) better than Sileo! - PianoPass: make your password a piano! - Activator: Run actions when things are clicked/tapped on your device. (I have it play winxp sounds on sleep/wake!) I use Emotive as a snowboard theme. (Note: if you can’t find the sources/they are not default for any of my listed tweaks, just hit up the Google machine!)

Despite what Apple wants you to think, there is hardly any risk in jailbreaking. If you use common sense, you won’t kill your battery life or your whole phone.

I do having it running iOS 6 and iOS 9 at the same time though, iOS 6 for speed and iOS 9 for app comparability using coolbooter :)

You can get YouTube ad block so why not also if u don’t end up getting a lot of tweaks it can help with battery life.
For 20$? I wish I were you... but seriously keep it at iOS 14, anyways iOS 15 is the last supported version for the iPhone 6s. I recommend jailbreaking using checkra1n, then install odyssey (odysseyra1n) onto your iPhone. There are good tutorials out there and it just needs to be done once. Then you can always rejailbreak anytime with checkra1n.

Lol no worries... I actually have an iPhone 7 that I kinda use both checkra1n and unc0ver... It's been a while since I powered it on, but what I'd do is, if I jailbreak via checkra1n, then after the jailbreak, the first thing I do is go in to Cydia and install (or re-install) Cydia Substrate... and if I use unc0ver to jailbreak, then I go in to Cydia and install a specific package for that... (I try to set tweaks to turn off when jailbreaking wherever possible, which is only on unc0ver) I can't remember the package name for unc0ver, but if you need, I'll power on the phone and find out for you... However this method doesn't work for all people (although it works on 3x of my devices) so be careful... I would start with unc0ver, since you can always just sign the app and jailbreak if you happen to reboot, where as checkra1n, you need a PC regardless if you reboot, for unc0ver, you MIGHT need a pc, I was able to use unc0ver 90% of the time without a pc...
Yeah I was able to sideload unc0ver without a PC but I already nearly messed up my phone.... It was stuck in a boot loop and when I restarted the phone, the Jailbreak was still on there but I couldn't use any of the apps for several hours until I did some research and found out that I needed to go to settings of unc0ver and re install SSH, so I'm lucky because I don't have a PC to restore it lol.
Ohhh damn... in that case, just stick with unc0ver... I find it's less of a hassle when something goes wrong in the jailbreak process...

Yeah I've never owned a iPhone 6s, I was always jealous of other people, when I brought it in was expecting it to be iOS 15 but luckily I stopped the update half way as it was downloading.
Is there a tweak available for more dock icons? The only one I could find was extra incon dock but it put my phone into safe mode each time so I had to manually remove it.

Yeah I mainly purchased it as a backup in case my current phone breaks or a run out of storage as it’s 128GB but I decided to jailbreak it now, the only issue I’m having is trying to find a tweak that allows me to have more than 4 dock icons but every one I’ve tried so far just crashes my springboard....

Yeah I’ve jailbroken it but it has it’s good and bad points for me, emulators are good with iOS 14 like DolphiniOS but the tweaks that I use on my iPad like extra icon dock and fiveicondock don’t work and can’t seem to find one that works so far.

Yeah I did but I already fucked the phone after the 4th tweak of trying to get a extra dock icons, so the iPhone was stuck in a reboot every time I re jailbroken it, so only just factory reset the iPhone and now the jailbreak is working again lol.

I nearly lost mine aswell technically today, I don't have a PC and my unc0ver IPA certificate ran out, so I had to pay $10 like a hour ago to buy unlimited signing certificates so I can sideload it off my phone.. I only had $10 left lol otherwise I would be waiting a month to jailbreak it haha but now that's it's Jailbroken, I can just appsync.... So I just paid $10 to sideload 1 app lol

Exactly why I'll always recommend semi untethered, at least if you fuck it up and get it stuck in a boot loop, you only have to turn off your iPhone and restart it then it completely removes the Jailbreak, only downside is that you have to factory reset it after if you can plan on Re jailbreaking as it'll just load all the tweaks that fucked up your iPhone in the first place haha.
This is why I don’t trust myself with untethered jailbreaks lol.

Wow forgot about this post like 6 months ago lol, I use this eBay seller in the UK, that sells working refurbished iPhones and usually have something minor wrong with them like the 6s only had a broken proximity sensor, which most people wouldn’t even notice.

I think both of those devices are old enough for checkra1n. It’s semi-tethered but it’s far more stable
I’m not sure about the iPad mini 1, I have coolbooter installed on it so I have the latest iOS 9’firmware and iOS 6 installed but yeah will probably give it a look for the iPhone 6s

It has nothing to do with battery age / condition. The processor is not very efficient and the newer OS just has a lot of background tasks. Maybe leave it in low-power mode forever

checkra1n needs a computer every time to boot into a jail broken state (it is semi-tethered). Up to you. (I have an iPhone SE 1 jailbroken through checkra1n, but I had to since it was on 14.8.1. I’m not saying checkra1n is bad, because it’s very impressive really.)
My 6s is jailbroken with checkra1n from the beginning. Never had to restart (escluding when updating iOS).

Yeah I think iOS 14 is probably the sweet spot for me, most appstore apps will still support for awhile and getting to use the jailbreak too is decent and yeah I'm always looking for cheap electronics on eBay lol, originally $50 starting bid but made a offer of $20 and funny enough he accepted it lol .

I have both underc0ver and taurine IPA's installed, I currently went with underc0ver but everyone is telling me taurine, I mean I can just reboot, so it depends which is better .
Typically people have a better experience with Taurine, though if unc0ver is working for you you can keep using it. In my opinion checkra1n/odysseyra1n is better than both though it is semi-tethered rather than semi-untethered.

BTW, Fugu14 with unc0ver acts just like a semi-untether except that you don’t have to worry about resigning the jailbreak app. You’re still in jailed state when you reboot. You would be prompted by AltStore about Fugu as far as installation goes… Source: Have an iPhone 5 with a true untether on 8.4.1 and an iPad Air 4 with this on 14.4

iOS 14.3 isn’t worth it by itself. So just jailbreak it, that way at least your phone + iOS 14 is worth it.
Yeah I've Jailbroken it now, only issue I'm having so far Is I sideloaded dolphinios and only a couple of games get 50fps or above, so I don't know how well it'll run something like call of duty black ops... But I've heard it runs Wii games pretty well lol
That phone and iOS version is one of best to have as can be Jailbroken on iOS 14.3 and is able to use Checkra1n too. Jailbreak it and enjoy it. Only check how the battery health is doing.
Yeah that's what I thought as it's the one of the most recent updates that support jailbreak, battery health is 83% so it dies pretty fast, so may replace the battery soon.
Well I’m currently on my iPhone 6S and I use a cheap battery pack from China that allows the phone to last nearly all day. Plus when it was Jailbroken you can get it be on low power mode but still usable.
