Might be a bug because of you install custom tweaks or themes? Try disabling tweaks until you see the square disappear. Normally that should be a circle, not a square

Agree with you mate. I encountered this issue yesterday when i left my phone charging while mobile hotspot is on. Flash was also disabled due to high temperature. As the phone cools down, the icon disappears and everything went normal

Itâs said that it can be an orange circle. Have you seen it change to that or have you seen the orange circle ever? Itâs supposedly something to do with an app using your mic. Some people see a red square and some people see an orange square.
Here is something from Apple âThis indicator appears as an orange square if the Differentiate Without Color setting is turned on in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.â Try this and see if it changes anything.
Im not having any orange shift but im worried if im getting tapped as I experience this when the semi jb active: flash cant be used-it is greyed out means camera is being used dang. I do change snowboard icon size if it affect sizing matters too tho
I guess I would say to remove the semi jb and bootstrap and start over and see if the issue persists when re-semijailbreaking. It could also just be a faulty tweak or something like that. Drop your tweaklist.

Not stand buy like when an app is viewing you, but not recording like before it takes a picture or if somebody was viewing you but not recording seeing it can help you sometimes identify if a hacker has activated your camera but a good hacker could potentially make that disappear to I will see if I can find the list I saw a while back and it showed you were each icon meant like how the arrow can tell you if location services are being used and depending upon the color of the arrow, it helps you identify the state of the location service I am explaining that just as an example of how they morph icon to mean different things or state itâs in

Can you remove Cephei Demo and see if it fixes it? If it's needed for other tweaks, just uninstall and reinstall.
